No games at same time as AFL team this year... a couple on same day but only one where we can go to Vic Park in the arvo and MCG in the evening.

June 4 vs Northern Bullants @ VP, vs St Kilda @ MCG

Collingwood lead the "chorus" of anger to last years VFL draw, where we had a few clashes, and some very bad scheduling of VFL games compared to AFL games, so I'd say finally the VFL has come to it's senses and created a draw that assists the AFL aligned teams.

Plenty of games at Vic Park too, especially towards the end of the season.:thumbsu:

Norm Minns Oval is in Wangaratta of all palces

:thumbsu: It's Wangaratta Magpies ground, as opposed to Wangaratta Rovers...which is the other side of the road.

Last year I did a O&M League road trip Saturday and saw Rovers (Karl Norman hehe) vs Lavington over the road in the very very wet. Good day though.

Shame our game is on a Sunday though.

Pardon my ignorance, but why are we playing a game at Wangaratta?

Wiliiamstown home game, so you would have to ask them that.

I'm thinking given they are playing games everywhere, Burbank Oval is being upgraded?
That was my guess, then I found this;

The venue will have new ground lighting installed immediately at a cost of $200,000 (Williamstown FC have contributed $100,000 towards this project) and an upgrade of the clubroom facilities are planned later in the year. The improved facilities will include, a gymnasium, coaches rooms, medical & property facilities and expanded change rooms. This has all been achieved with the cooperation of the City of Hobson’s Bay, AFL Victoria, Williamstown Football Club, Altona North Cricket Club and the Burbank Group.
