Oh yeah, when we win close games its 'luck'. Eli does it hes clutch. Whatever.
Well considering the Eagles won both its other 2 games by a point and turned the ball over 4 times in each? And the Way you and the rest of the Eagles fans carry on about Andy Reid's play calling.

"Luck" is spot on for describing your teams current status ;)

To me dominating a game and turning the ball over does not equal a lucky win. The other team was lucky that the bloody games were so close.

Reid's playcalling is poor because we have a damn good roster. Use the best running back in the NFL just a little bit shall we?

Geez Philly fans are squealers. Team is top of the NFC East and they still spend more time complaining or justifying it than just enjoying it.

Kind of funny given the way Baltimore whined it up after we handled them.

Read my post where I said Eli lost us the game?

Osi kept your drives alive ;)

You think Osi is going to stop talking shit to McCoy yet? He burns him every time.

Just like Cruz can be pencilled in for 100 and a td against us.

I can't wait not to have to look at that arrogant **** off smile after he gets repeatedly burned by rushes in his direction after he blindly bum rushes the QB.

You aren't going to get paid for a reason Osi...

The Eagles were very lucky. We live and die by Eli. His interception was massive.

I think we should've tried to throw for another five yards or so. Tynes isn't a huge kick.
A 5 yard pass would have been nice in the end, but I have more of a problem with the draw rush. Vick isn't going to beat us in 20 seconds, and 2 yards isn't going to help.

Yeah that was a strange decision. We've always been too concerned with leaving little amounts time on the clock but the reality is that most QB's won't get near scoring in 20 seconds.

The flag on Barden was a shocker but the one for the Eagles was as well. Oh well.

The Browns next week and then San Francisco in San Francisco. We played them there last year. Why are we travelling there again?

AP still the best, Rice and McCoy equal second IMO, Richardson shooting up the rankings.

AP still getting over the knee. Otherwise happy to crown him.

If you were picking a RB right now for your franchise you'd take McCoy.

Considering what AP did against San Fran, I find it hard to bet against him even with a bum knee.

I think it's a toss up between McCoy and Rice apart from AP, would probably go Mc for us due to our blocking issues, but if we had a 'standard' oline I probably go with Rice.

I'd take AP or Rice every single time. All Day is brutal. I love watching him run. Watching a back punish linebackers by steamrolling their tackle is awesome viewing.

what about maurice jones drew? leading rushing yards in a struggling jax offence last year

exactly^. If i could pick a hb it would be mjd

Watched two very strange games today, Panthers/Falcons & of course us against the Packers.

I've never seen 4 teams so intent on playing well and losing. Some brilliant football, some awful mistakes & officials hell bent on proving they're no better than what they replaced.

Atlanta pinched one and we almost did the same.

Look at the carry numbers for MJD to put up the yardage that he did.

McCoy's year last year was more impressive than MJD's.
Yeah just looked and his career avg is 4.6 per carry. i suppose one of the reasons he put up impressive numbers is he was the whole o like rose MVP said. I'd still pick MJd then McCoy/pietersen. for the record I'm very happy with mcgahee

Totally agree.

Watching the game with intent today after i backed the G men and tipped them in AE i could not believe how easily the Giants line can be run around when the offense runs wide running plays while Osi blindly puts the blinkers on the the QB. McCoy was brilliant at this and exposed it big time in the 2nd half when Reid decided to finally run the ball.

JPP i was also watching closely and the amount of times he was held at the LOS and no Flags thrown was astounding and he is now reminding me of D Ware with the treatment he gets. Philly were good though and like these NFC East match ups every year they are hard fought contests and quite often won in the final minutes.

Great game. :thumbsu:
