I would like to see the results from draft camp before I get excited about Sheed. He appears to be another inside player to me, one who can get the ball okay, but what we need in the midfield now is PACE and good skills to get the ball down to our forwards.
Wouldn't have thought Cameron is a 2nd round pick, would prefer him to be taken later than that.

Acres, Yarran and Conca would be a hell of an offseason for just the loss of Rosa.
Pick 6 for yarran and 10
10 and rosa for conca and 14 would be winning.
Even if we didnt get sheed we could get acres or Salem and maybe even freeman.
Would be a move hard to resist and I'm not even super keen on yarran.
Would rather not give up our 2nd rounder for cameron tho. Much better options IMO.
Anyway that surely can't be true.

How bad is Concas hammy though?
Looked pretty bad, almost Kerr like.Severe tear high up on the hamstring. Getting around on crutches, I suppose we won't know the full extent for another few days until it comes out in the media.

Hope it's not for Conca's sake, regardless of if we chase him or not. Too young to be pinging a hamstring that badly.
I wouldn't give up a first rounder for him now. He's going to take a long time to recover and will have continual problems throughout his career.
Not worth the risk anymore.
He also had a bad footy problem last year? Not sure i would bother with these injuries now..

Alec Waterman looks the goods for next year he just got 35 disposals and a goal in his colts prelim
Did you watch the U18s Sheed killed it when resting forward used his body really well and can slot goals from anywhereWith the capped rotations we need a mid who can also play forward. Freeman and Bontempelli both provide this option. Sheed, while he can kick goals, cant rest forward.
IMO Bontempelli and Freeman both have the body shape to play next year but will be playing more half forward rotating through the middle. Sheed is a mid and a mid only. He can possibly play the high half forward role but I like that Freeman and Bontempelli can both play as a deep forward. Because Sheed is pretty much a mid only I dont see him having a big impact next year as it will take some time to build the body to play as an inside mid
Bontempelli sure he is a good prospect but he has nothing in Sheed or Freeman
What are peoples thoughts on Ben Lennon? Has a boot on him that is sometimes Likened to Hurn, hard to believe, but is a really good shot at goal and is predicted to move into the midfield and is 189cm Sounds pretty good for pick 6
