Just wanted to ask, now that Roos is officially the Melbourne coach - do you think he will try and chase any current Swans players that he was close with to come across?

It really depends on how "flexible" he is as a coach.
The super-defensive and high-stoppage style was correct for Sydney given the home ground and the batch of players he had. If he is a good coach, he will develop the team around the attributes and strengths of the current playing group (whatever they are) and minimise the weaknesses. Eg. 90s Chicago Bulls: give the ball to Jordan...the same strategy doesn't work if it's "give the ball to Andrew Bogut".
Jordie McKenzieBulls: "Give the ball to Jordan"
Dees: "Give the ball to Jordie"
Hey guys sorry for intruding,

Will be interesting to see if Roos goes hard at any trades. You guys should go get Longer or Docherty.
I WANT SOME GODDAMN DELISTINGS.
Collingwood has come out with 6 players not returning in 2014, all this within 2 days after their end of season. Why is Melbourne dragging its knuckles, surely it's not that hard to flick off Gillies and Jetta (at a minimum).
I imagine we would be several weeks behind most clubs as we would have waited until the new coach came in. The Collingwood players would have known for a while they were getting delisted so it wouldn't have been a shock on Monday morning.
Write that down in the Nathan Buckley book of "Shit I Shouldn't Have Done"I don't reckon telling your players they're being delisted before a finals campaign is a particularly smart move.
So Magner delisted? Traded?
Who else?
Sellar probably had to go because we have Pederson stuck on the list for another 2 years. Didn't mind him from the limited number of games I have seen. Not great player but could fill a gap.
