Receiver gets two hands on it. Dropped pass. Maybe Eli could have thrown it a bit better, but in that situation the receiver needs to make the play.

No different to The SB Brady to Welker (overthrown/dropped chance). Where is David Tyree when Eli needs him???

Donte' Stallworth has tweeted that Brandon Myers ran the wrong route, which is why Eli's throw appears high.

So what, Eli didn't go through his reads and just aired it out blindly?

Why deflect blame off Eli, he still made the shithouse throw.

No different to Neil O'Donnell who was HEAVILY chastised unfairly after the 1995 SB vs Dallas. I knew all along at the time that it was Hastings & WR4 Holliday running wrong routes. Steelers FB icon & now ESPN media scribe, Merril Hoge, confirmed it was the WR's.

Anyway.. carry on Dixie.

I NEVER want to hear a Giants fan hang shit on Romo again.

Eli....... Seriously bad and choking yet Romo cops 90% of the fans mud.

To be fair, Romo has more career int's in the 4th when tied, or up by 7 and less than anyone else in the league.

And to be fairer, it's only just ahead of Brady and Ryan, so i'll hop back into a box.

Tony Romo -- QB, 2003-present
Who He Is: a player whose every mistake is the lead highlight on SportsCenter, and whose career is remembered more for a dropped snap, trip to Mexico and dating Jessica Simpson. Oh, his 7.9 yards per attempt are sixth ALL-TIME.
Why Romo is Underrated: Don't worry Romo haters, at least Romo's passer rating sucks. It's only 95.6, fifth ALL-TIME. Wait! He's not a "winner." Guessing 55-38 is a horrific record. While the Cowboys have a myriad of issues, be it offensive line, DeMarco Murray's health, or a defense that couldn't stop anyone last year, Romo was not the problem. He's been a solid citizen in Dallas and a very good player, if not great. His most famous miscue -- the dropped snap against the Seattle Seahawks -- was bad. Too bad no one ever mentions the fact that almost no starting quarterbacks in the NFL are ever asked to hold for kicks. If Romo is really as terrible as people say he is, then why don't people hate Quincy Carter, Chad Hutchinson or Drew Henson? Because they stunk.
Interesting Sidenote: An explanation for Romo not being a "Top 100 player" is that he isn't clutch, like an Eli Manning. Take a wild guess who the NFL's active leader in fourth quarter passer rating is ... as in, higher than Brady, Brees, and Eli? Yup, it's Romo.

Miss all these stats did we????? This article was during the Pre Season this year as well.

I really don't care tbh.
What's his 4th quarter and OT game winning drives position?
I know Ryan and Manning are #1 and #2 since Ryan joined the league.
Where does Romo rate?

I tried to post "GO GIANTS" but I had an error.

Apparently bigfooty doesn't understand why anybody would want to support them here.

Some of us aren't massive bandwagoners :p

Sure, if their careers began this year that would be valid. Eli has two superbowl rings, Romo has one playoff win. Might have a bit of catching up to do.

Alex Smith, traded to the Chiefs for two second-round draft picks, remains as he was with the 49ers. He’s safe and efficient. More of a game-manager than a game breaker.

What Smith has done at a higher rate than any quarterback since 2011 is win games. His 24-5-1 record as a starter during the span is a winning percentage of .800. That is superior to Tom Brady (29-8, .784) and Aaron Rodgers (27-8, .771). Only Peyton Manning (18-3, .857) is better, and he missed the entire 2011 season with a neck injury.

God works in mysterious ways.

God could play QB for the Jags and they'd still lose.

Peyton 20 TDs so far, Eli 15 Ints. It's going to go down to the wire I think.

i only just notices that the Colts were on the road this week. that was stupid by the NFL, since they now have a short week after the MNF game on the West Coast before next weeks SNF game against the Broncos. i think next weeks Colts/Broncos game is the game im most excited ive been for a NFL game in recent times. and i will admit most of that is my manlove for Luck and that ive always liked watching the Colts and Peyton.

I want to see if the competitive Chargers show up this week.
