Anyone thinking of having Bellchambers as R1?

no - any team with 3 capable ruck options (ryder, bellchambers and maybe Hillie) = split points, might average 90 which in my opinion is not enough for R1

Bellchambers will be the #1 ruck option at Essendon, however Ryder will most likely ave. more ppg than T - Bell.

Yep, agree with this totally. Even with the "emergence" of TBell oover the last year or two Ryder has been able to increase his average and is locked in to my forwards.

Anyone else think this new ruck rule may actually advantage the less athletic ruckmen. For those who have ever played the position they know it is all about positioning (rather than just jumping higher than your opponent). Therefore the smarter ruckmen will protect the space around the fall of the ball at ball ups around the ground and get more hitouts. The "athletes" are not going to be running from 4m away and leaping at every ball up around the ground. It's simply too exhausting to do for 2 hours.

I just looked up highlights from 2012, featured heavily in the marks of the week. Definite potential to clunk marks and kick goals if played in fwd line (+12). Has pace for a big guy and will spend some time in the midfield pinch hitting in ruck...
Jenkins did well today. Couple of goals but missed a relatively easy set shot.

Just like the last bloke to wear No 4 for the Crows :p

Bloody Sandi and Johnson have changed my plans in the space of a week, agh.

every year i want him - every year he burns me in one way or another

Hasn't played a full season since 2008, and only 25 games total in 2011 & 2012.
Pumps out massive scores, but is so, so unreliable.

Anyone considered going mummy and goldy??

Not alot of other options. Cox is in my forward line. NicNat and Sandi injured.

Will look closley at Mummy.

Still havent forgiven Goldy for his 27 in round 22 last year. I lost that game by 7 points, and it cost me a spot in my league GF. 7 points! How hard is it to score 34 points in a game, the worst rookie in my team could top that! Spud!

The wound is still fresh

Really need to try and keep emotion out of this. Running out of other options.
