I'd re-sign:- Hayes (one more year), Jones, Schneider, up grade Curren, Minchington keep rookie listed unless his two years is up, if so up grade.

Simpkin, Maister and Ray all depends on who we get during the draft and trade period.

All the other boys delist or trade for what ever we can get for them.

These are the players at highest risk of being cut from our list. The club has shown that it can be ruthless, though, and players with existing contracts are not necessarily safe

I believe that most of these players won't have a spot on list next year. I hope Lenny goes again, upgrade Curren, keep Jones, Maister for deptb and Schneider will be 50/50 depending on how his body holds up for remainder of season.

Funny, I think we are really missing Maister at the moment. I think he is good for depth and will be retained for a year.

I believe MILNE will go and SCHNEIDER stay on otherwise I agree.

I think the club needs to follow the rest of the competition and move away from having more than one specialist forward pocket player which retiring Milney will be the start of.

If true it would be a shame as we would most likely get him reasonably cheaply during this trade period. Wow that will put the Saints trading/recruiting team under pressure and highlight even more the decisions made in past years.

If they only delist the crossed out ones, that's still 6 taken off the main list, with 3 taken off the rookie list [Shenton gone, Curren upgraded, Fergs upgraded or gone]. Turning over 9 players on our list will be enough of a shock, I'd suggest.

Yeah, I could see them upgrading TC and MAYBE Fergs (though to be honest, I think they should just let him go), Minch might get upgraded because of the Scotty-love. Maybe that gets a few of the orange players in that list more under the pump.

Trade in a couple of KPD's and take few drafts picks into the draft.. Maybe try and snare a Delisted FA or normal FA as well.

OK but from your listed players only Ledger and Milera would conceivably be part of a trade, and that's doubtful. And while earlier picks may be needed to trade for a defender, its not going to make draft picks 5 or 6 any more valuable.
