It's because both teams wanted to wear them for their respective home games, which is a nice gesture IMO.

Melbourne are actually playing better footy than the Eagles at the moment. They work hard and spread effectively (even if not yet efficiently) across the fat side of the ground. I think the only game I've seen us do that is brief periods of time in the Collingwood game early on before they hit third gear.

How good was Horlin Smith & Guthrie? Duncan, Selwood & Johnson all had quiet nights, and those 2 just kept at it and made some huge plays.

saw the margin at the start of the last quarter and I was embarrassed. GWS pushes them 2 weeks ago, Carlton pushes them tonight, but in between we fold against them. So I was glad to see the margin blow out a bit.
