Carlton should eat into GC's % and effectively kill their season (given their opponents and form ) :)
Shame GWS stopped in the second half after coming back in the 2nd q though

^ no, but it still would have been nice if they'd lost as it would have made the Adelaide-North result next week less crucial . Now we'll definitely be barracking for North next week because Adelaide don't have any other hard games for the rest of the year.

Even Adelaide winning all four may not affect our finals chances.
If we win all four games and Collingwood lose to Hawthorn we will play finals.

Sort of true. If we win all 4 games we'll help displace Collingwood (assuming they lose to Hawks as expected) , and *might* displace Essendon if results go our way (they play GC and Carlton), but that's not as likely. However if only Collingwood gets displaced, then Adelaide will take our spot by winning all 4 of their games. This makes the North-Crows game next week crucial.

Yes but Essendon have percentage to make up and if we beat them by 4-5 goals next week and thump Melbourne I doubt they'll make it up.
I think Carlton are a sneaky chance to knock them off anyway.

Yeah good point . The nice thing about playing on Sunday in week 23 is at least we'll know if we can still make the finals and also, how much of a % gap (if any) we'll have to make up on Collingwood/Essendon/Richmond/Adelaide to get there :)
Thankfully Collingwood play Hawthorn, Richmond play Sydney in Sydney (and still aren't ahead of us anyway),and Essendon/Adelaide, who have the easiest draws of that group, are only 1 game in front anyway. Still , it would be nice if Adelaide drop one of Brisbane/Richmond/North.

I suspect Adelaide might drop one of or both of their games against Richmond and North.
My faith in us making the 8 rests entirely upon our own teams ability to keep winning. And I'm not sure we will simply because we have been inconsistent and will get beaten when we shouldn't.

Shit free kick. Sucked in Sandilands, never seen such an unco player in my life

Nice duck from Suban. But only eagles players do that aye estibador

Speaking of ducking. I was heartened by a piece of play involving Shuey last week where in previous years he would have gone for the obvious duck. This time he didn't and it seemed to me they are trying to let go of this side of our game.

Given how Essendon/GC/Melbourne (especially the latter two ) have been travelling , I'm less worried about those games then I was earlier in the season . I'm super nervous about this weekend though and will be absolutely devastated if we lose.

Freo play Hawthorn /Port so if they lose this they are a chance for 5th :), especially if Port beat Sydney :o. It would mean I lose both tips (I tipped Freo and Sydney ) but who cares :)

Freo fans will be fuming tomorrow , free kick count is 24-10 against them already :P. Wonder if the umpires will overcompensate after half time

The free kick count has been huge!
It's a shame we will hear about this for the rest of the season though from the Dockers fans... so many tears already flowing across multiple boards.

edit:

unless they win it from here! great game.
