Yeah exacly this. We got robbed by the hawks and Port adelaide in the past. Dont want too stoop down to their levelIf you want to deal with a club in the future, sometimes you just have to be reasonable in dealings with them.
We may have a player Who is surplus to our needs and is happy to move to Gold Coast. If GC were interested in that player why wouldn't we do the trade.
I think it was always going to be a great outcome for the club Harley chose.
This thread is about to cope a hiding tomorrow when people here snippets on Trade Radio or that fake AFL news on Facebook and start speculating!

Apparently he was supposed to meet them on Saturday at the MCG but they didn't turn up

McGovern will probably play forward. Schofield has always been a running defender as well.My apologies if this has already been well covered but it seems West Coast is about to have an overubundance of key backs with the return Brown and Mackenzie to join Schofield and McGovern ... can you play 4 guys on the backline who are over 195cm tall I wonder ... seems to me one or two of those boys are not going to get much game time in 2016. All are happy in WA ... is it worth it for you to take a look now McPharlin has hung up the boots?
Trading doesn't happen between WC and Freo. It did early on but there is too much riding on the result and the local media are all over it all the time. The recruiting teams would rather play it safe and stay away from the other side of the river. My apologies if this has already been well covered but it seems West Coast is about to have an overubundance of key backs with the return Brown and Mackenzie to join Schofield and McGovern ... can you play 4 guys on the backline who are over 195cm tall I wonder ... seems to me one or two of those boys are not going to get much game time in 2016. Colin Young will be on trade radio soon. We should get some info on Bennell and McCarthy.

hey guys, pardon the intrusion. Just wondering what the go is with Apeness? Is he contracted? Can you see him leaving and what would he demand?
Missed most of the year with a posterior knee injury. Not re-signed yet. Freo rate him highly but 3 of our players apparently would like to move and we don't know which ones they arehey guys, pardon the intrusion. Just wondering what the go is with Apeness? that's interesting. Who are you guys speculating that is? I'm a big Ross fan and would be surprised if he'd let any guns leaveMissed most of the year with a posterior knee injury. Not re-signed yet. I haven't heard who they may be. It can be difficult to hold onto Victorians who want out, as there is usually a Victorian club on the bottom of the ladder, so they can just walk.[/QUOTE]that's interesting. Apologies for the intrusion guys.
Just wanted to know the contractual situation for Michael Apeness.
Our board has bought him up in discussions recently and would be an ideal Ruckman/Forward that our recruiting team are after.
Thanks
