Suggestions?

I love a drop of white but have gone away from reds a bit. No reason to be paying anymore than about $25 a bottle at the high end eg Shaw & Smith Sav Blanc is excellent - range down to $12 for a bottle of Giesen Sav Blanc which I guzzle.

Sparkling - you can get Trilogy for $12 which is nice or I even tracked down Croser at $18 at Xmas.

Probably my favourite is Rockfords Alacante Bouche which is a dark rose served chilled. $25

All great drinking and nothing near $40. I accept reds are generally dearer though. Even so when I was drinking red, a bottle of Jamiesons Run was never more than $15

Some beers are good like Tooheys , Boags , Extra Dry but than you awful ones like VB , Peroni , XXXX and West End........

Love that Adelaide are 7th:

Adelaide has an understated and unheralded backline that is superbly led by 2014 best and fairest winner Daniel Talia. Last year the Crows were difficult to overcome: they were ranked sixth in the competition for points conceded. They are steady in most key defensive areas, showing an evenness in their approach and set-up.​

So they see us dropping down the defensive ladder from 6th because?

Even funnier, are Geelong:

Harry Taylor's influence on the Cats is born out in the statistics, with Geelong's defence the best at intercepting opposition teams' forward 50 entries. They also use the ball well out of the backline, rated among the top-four in the competition. The Cats were ranked eighth in the League for points against last year but should be a tougher team to beat in 2016.​

Ranked 8th last year, but will improve a couple of spots now that they have an ageing backline and no Rivers. This Hendo guy must be the bomb !!

Also, I doubt lonergan, Mackie & enright will all be playing great football in 2016.

Get on the foreign beers, especially IPA's from America. They are miles ahead in the beer game.

Yeah teds is ok but Hahn is better as far as local products are concerned.

When I was a teenager I drank a box of fruity lexia in an hour and proceeded to redecorate the living room of a mates' parents, whose house I've not since stepped foot in.

Haven't touched wine since. The choices we make as kids matter.

You guys need to get away from the commercial brews as they are a slight improvement on cats piss, and try some craft brews.

McLaren Vale make a good wine, but also make a great beer.

Matilda Bay, Little Creatures etc.

I do like my Ales though, so personal choice, but there are far better beers available that are not from CUB or Lion Nathan.
