I guess since you're probably starting a sock puppet at WR, you've got a lot spare right?

And yet, the plus side of Chip being in control is that we won't have the owner forcing a quarterback on our head coach despite the coach thinking that the QB is a complete spud.

It's one of those small things that I forget to be grateful for. No matter how bad we get, atleast we aren't the Redskins.

If the QB is getting pressured consistently with nothing happening in the running game, which greatly diminishes his quality of play from the outset, then decides to target Maxwell rather than Sherman, and doesn't do well BECAUSE of the other factors at play. The stats are Maxwell's, but its not like he was the cause is the argument being made.

As I said, it isn't the case all the time, or necessarily here, but getting decent stats in a great system doesn't necessarily have to do with your skill level.

He's getting paid as if he was an isolation CB when he's never been in that situation. We'll find out if he is or isn't in the coming seasons.

He's not the cause of defending the passes thrown directly at him?

Maxwell is now a top 5 paid CB.
He's the only guy in the top 10 highest paid CBs who has never been a true #1 starting CB.

When you consider that fact, the Eagles overpaid.

The coming increase in the cap and the effect that this will have on starting salaries makes the comparison asinine. That's already been explained to you. Would it help if we used sock puppets?

2) You tried to deflect that by talking about the salary cap, as if Brandon Carr or Jonathan Joseph are going to get $80 million deals when they hit FA. In your attempt at a deflection, you asked if I wanted sock puppets to explain it.
3) Making a joke/comment about how your #1 WR is now Riley Cooper, I replied that you are sure to have plenty of sock puppets lying around.
4) Apparently that means I have now linked your CB's to your WR's via sock puppets in your mind.

But as everyone with half a brain knows, 1 + 1 does not = 3.
