After some opinions on Dangerfield Vs. Watson and Goldstein and rookie F5 Vs. Leuenberger and Bellchambers F5 and ruck coverage.
Leaning towards Watson because of his consistency, obviously injury is a concern.

Only knock on Dangerfield is historically he has slow starts to seasons, however this season his starting price is substantially less than the preceding two seasons so any monetary loss due to another slow start is mitigated somewhat. Adelaide also have a pretty nice run fixture wise early on plus Watson has that annoying round 12 bye.
Danger/Watson is a tough one to split but I'd lean towards Danger. I don't think we've seen the best of Danger yet so feel he has more upside.
As for Rucks, without a doubt Goldstein and rookie F5, not even close IMO. Bellchambers will not score well enough to justify a spot in your forward line & he's injured more often than not. Go with Goldy, Leuy and be prepared to burn a trade if you cop an injury. I would rather sacrifice 1 trade than ensure I have a swing man for Leuy. If Leuy gets injured you'll have to trade him anyway so no point having a spud R3 in TBC.

I would have slapped myself in the face two weeks ago for entertaining the idea of having Bellchambers in my team. Time and idle hands do strange things to a man.

No problem, personally I'll be avoiding both Kreuzer & Leuy unless one of them dominates pre-season. I think there are much better options for under-priced rucks capable of average 110+ (Goldy, Minson, NicNat, Maric). Safer picks & can save money elsewhere.

Picking Treloar over Ward is the sort of thing that I'd do in about round 15 when I'm in desperate catch up mode, thinking the $30k is going to do me good with another out-of-left-field midpricer (who in turn proceeds to churn out exactly the 63 a week that his price suggests he should), then two weeks later it becomes painfully obvious that I've outsmarted myself and Ward is just flat out better and more consistent.
Not that I'm bitter.

Interesting choice. Personally I would wait until the NAB cup to see how GWS structures their team before deciding on Ward.
Right now Barlow, simply because I cant see why he wouldn't continue going about his business as usual. His role isn't going to change, and he has been pretty consistent the last couple of years. Only down side his he is never really going to give you many big scores. He has only topped 120 9 times in the last 2 years.
Ward.
Barlow's DT/SC ratio isn't great (1882/1899 for 2014). CD love Ward (1981,2245 for 2014). Barlow is consistent but Ward has a higher ceiling and if he scores low DT usually he'll end up with a respectable SC score.
What about Sidebottom v Ward?
So starting with Pendles/Sidey/Swan no issue? I guess with Beams gone not really a problem.

Well 2014 Pendles Avg. 124, Beams Avg. 118, Sidey Avg. 113. You could justify having all 3 last year so I don't think it's an issue.

I wouldn't be moving Pendles out for anybody SnappyHappy, even if you decide to start with Sidebottom.
He's the soundest investment any coach can make, since 2011 he's scored under 100 only 8 times. On six of those occasions he scored 90+. The lowest score being an injury effected 62 in 2012.

Your banking on a bit of a rarity there, although if your willing Collingwood are a safe bet to do it with, they have had a few years with 3 of their mids running above 110.
Yeah was just making that point that its not impossible for 3 from the same team to average high. FWIW I think Pendles and Sidebottom will average higher and Swan more likely around 100.

That would be the safe bet.
Swan's best is past him, although he should still be one of the top forwards, his time as a top mid is no more.
