Marc Murphy Vs Parker?
Marc Murphy Vs Parker?
Unsure on where Tmitch sits in the swans side if he going to play much though the mids and how Kjack goes he played a bit forward last year.Smart money says Parker, gut is actually saying Murphy.
With all the hype coming in around TMitch, you have to wonder whether it might stifle Parkers ability to take his game to the next level.

Would almost be a slap in the face to relegate your captain to the forward line. He is only 27 and still a very good player.
I could see a huge rotation of players though, between JPK, Hannebery, Jack, Mitchell, McVeigh, Parker, McGlynn, Cunningham, etc.
If Mitchell is set to break into that team and do some damage (which he will) it has to make it hard for any other Sydney midfielder to make a big increase.
McVeigh to half back
mcg half fwd
Cunningham wing
hanners wing
Parker jpk tmt and jack majority of onball time
Probably high half forward/mid split for Mitchell I would have thought specifically at the start of the season, should progressively get more on ball time as the season progresses.Unsure on where Tmitch sits in the swans side if he going to play much though the mids and how Kjack goes he played a bit forward last year.

If he's named round one he's in my side. I think Sydney have a plethora of on ball options that might not guarantee Mitchell a full on ball run early on however also remember that Sydney are a very stoppage oriented team who like to get numbers around every contest. It's also the reason why I've got him ahead of Wingard at this stage considering Wingard when played in the forward line has played almost exclusively up there, the Swans make sure to get all of their midfielders involved. I can see a Parker like progression for Mitchell where Parker started scoring in the 90s and low 100s and exploded second half of the season when becoming one of their primary on ballers (JPK going down late also helped facilitate this). So are you looking at him as an upgrade target later on, or would you be willing to roll the dice early?
Even if TMit plays high half forward he will still get a lot of the ball, I'm in the same camp as you, if he is named Round 1 lock him in.If he's named round one he's in my side. There's an injury risk with Clark too. He's actually injured right nowMaric, Selwood, Clark. Only because of the injury risk with Berger.
If your confident Berger can play enough consecutive games, I think your second option will average more.

Can easily switch Clark to another fwd rookie. Taking away injury, which option is better?Yeah but Clark is 200K cheaper, not much of a risk there, no different than a rookie not getting games.
