i think the way Hawthorn see it is that JOM is worth more than 2 2nds.

I think everyone sees it that way? But I guess you mean they are happy to sacrifice picks 23 and 36 to get a deal done. That won't be all they are giving up.

You think Fyfe is only worth a second round?

He's suggesting crows pick 14 to Freo in addition to Blue's second round. It's a poor poor trade for the Dockers so wont happen.

Gibbs to Crows.
Fyfe to Blues.
1st round Crows and 2nd round Blues to Freo.

yea they'd be pants down doing laps of princess park if they got Fyfe for that.. ridiculous post

This all seems very chicken-egg and reminscent of a bygone era. At least Brett Ebert could take a grab and kick over several jamtins.

I know I'm in the minority here. With a full strength list, Neade would be outside of our 22 but I reckon there's still development in him and he's talented enough to persist with a little while longer as depth.

Nat Fyfe ain't leaving WA and certainly not for Caaaarrrlton.

Whether you rate him or not, the issue is we've given a 2 year contract to a guy who has been on our list for 4 years now and is at best still only borderline best 22 and showing no real signs of improvement!

1 year contract I could understand based on some glimpses, but 2 years is just text book poor list management.

Could have sworn that trade week was on...

I'm not convinced Port has its date right for trade week. Does anyone have a photo proving Port are actually there!
Well technically trade week is now over having started Monday October 10, but don't panic they're having another one (well four days) starting Monday.

Chris Fagan says the first thing Brisbane needs is a defensive small forward, and you still don't understand why we gave Neade a contract?

We already have Impey and Monfries who are both defensive forwards and are both twice the player of Neade. If Chris Fagan wants a defensive forward so badly, he's more than welcome to him.
