Hmm, don't mind SPP, kicking is the major worry but he's very explosive
everything about him screams 1st rounder, except his kicking. If he HAS been working hard on his kicking, you'd hope that he's reached an acceptable level and will continue to develop it as a priority in club land.

I've seen several of his games locally and whilst he has good speed and nice skills, not sure about his contested work, seems very "outside" to me, and he is a year older than a lot of others in this draft. I think we have his type covered with Curtly Hampton... personally I wouldn't have him in contention for our 1st round pick....and we don't have a 2nd at this stage. Just think Berry offers far more, but I admit I'll always favour contested beasts that can win their own ball and I honestly believe he will make into a midfield beast at 192cm with the added ability to be utilised in so many positions and roles. Not top mention his outstanding character and leadership....will likely Captain the team he is drafted by at some stage of his career.

Yeah agree with the Cox assessment, he's high-ish in my power rankings but not too high, same with Alex Villis.

Agree with Berry, would have loved to see some more gametime for him this year, that's the reason he's in my top 20 but not in top 10. Still like Drew more, though

If we can bring in a quality mid via FA or trade, I think we just take the most talented player available regardless of position.

If we bring in a quality mid we likely don't have a 1st pick in this draft and that to go along with no 2nd or possibly 3rd if required for Jarman the pickings after that for "most talented player" are going to be pretty skinny and purely speculative I'd reckon.

I tell you what, the more I see of Logue, the more I think he becomes a top KPD in the comp. Has great rebounding and intercept abilities, and seems pretty good as a stopper at this stage.

We don't need him, though

Not one SA player in Twomey's top 25. What happened to guys like Scharenberg etc?
Are we likely to get him, if he falls to our pick? or has he fallen way off the radar of late?

There's still a long journey to the draft ......high fancies currently will drop, and there'll still be late bolters

I heard Scharenberg was poor athletically with no outstanding skillset .......must say i've watched some snippetts of him & the above is correct, however he's a very smart footballer on the field and makes good decisions .......think Bernie Vince

Reckon Hayward will surprise and be top 35 draft pick and an outside chance to be the first SA kid

He looks a great prospect. He's kicked 6.2 about 5 minutes into the 2nd. If clubs believe he could play a bit in the midfield as well as a medium forward he might go even earlier.

Draft eligible Woodville-West Torrens' Jake Comitogianni joint winner of the Reserves Magarey Medal in the SANFL, not a bad effort from a kid still eligible for the U18s surely given he's a prolific ball winner and pacy he's a shot late in the National Draft or at least a Rookie chance.
