Stand behind and watch where the ball is going, beat him to the ball, jump from behind if you had to finish your drink first and still beat him to the ball.Coulda , i found out DC is just one dimensional , once players found out how to play him . Is easy peasy for them , eg collins.

Has Shaw shown more?I'm no expert i.e Moller but I didn't see anything in Cameron earlier in the season to make me think he would be an early pick this year (as an article suggested). Now I'm not even sure whether he would be picked up at all. Only seems to take marks on a much smaller opponents and doesn't seem to have much in the way of second efforts. Looks a bit lazy. He'll go first round now, you watch.
So the Irish is the first and only so far to get the cut.

They might wait for Peel to get eliminated to cut a few. Would be harsh to cut leading to a final

Damn, I liked Irish and reckon all that stupid training pulling huge weights around in pre-season is what buggered his hip up this year and prevented him from getting out and showing his stuff as a rebounding defender. Def. leaves a hole in our list for that type of player to replace MJ.
Jim Stynes, Sean Wight, Tadhg Kennelly, Pearce Hanley and even that yank Mason Cox might disagree with you Fred.Doesn't leave a hole at all. Sean wasn't even playing league at Peel and not making best player list in Peel reserves.
Sean was never going to play for Freo; It's just too hard if you haven't played the game while growing up.

I wouldn't. Any sense of accountability and he's found out.I'd have Pearce Hanley in my team any day of the week.
Mason Shaw's problem is injury prone. But never was going to get games with Westhoff, Schulz, Dixon and butcher this season. But could be worth a look, invite him to train and see what he may have. Also Butcher being delisted, pretty harsh I think. He's not a bad mark just his goal kicking is shocking. Pre season draft perhaps?I've only seen him once this season and he didn't do much , but I have given the benefit of the doubt because it was earlier in the season and he has been building. He will be on tv on saturday, I think. 7 mate iirc and should give us a good look, hopefully in the dry this time.
rumour (facebook so pinch of salt and all that) but Freo rumoured to be talking to Nathan Blakely- yes older brother of- for a rookie spot. 195cm 97kg plays ruck for Swan Districts but guess they would look at him for elsewhere at Afl level. Good player, hardnut type.

You just hate to admit your opinion is wrong.Sure, they're exceptions but also very talented.
Not sure about the players you mention but Sean came straight out of Ireland to play here; Ireland one day training at an AFL club the next. Those others may have been in Australia for a while and perhaps even played at lower levels before making their mark in the game.
There is an opinion that Mason Cox is only getting by because of his extreme bulk. It's too early to say he has made it .
