Yeah I know .... I want a mid

But he played mid once ! Or twice
That would be promising then .....only just started the who draft tape / bio thing ......didn't know how hard to look as we didn't look like having #13 ;)

I can't tell you the short list of who we will take ......but i can definitely say who we won't pick

I liked Powell-Pepper re his physicality and attack on the ball .....but his kicking in the U18 championships was simply woeful

The 2 questions with Powell-Pepper is a) is he all braun and no intellect .....and b) can his kicking be sorted out in an AFL environment
I think he has already worked on it , a lot to do with composure as he's only got one gear - flat chat

Seeing him in that draftstars game converted me , he was good with ball in hand

Love his appetite . Would still take Venables first however

He actually played mid and played well 3 or 4x then won the beep

Would love to see those games he played mid

My concern ATS is whether he's a Mitch Robinson MK2? ......I'll look at a few games at his decision making

Just a little snapshot ......but really like Jacob Allison ? (is that his first name) .......scheduled as a 3rd round pick ATS but could be a bolter .....194 cm left footer, looks like a real utility with some toe

They better be games in last 6-8 weeks !!!
Decision making wouldn't have changed .......it can be improved, but i'm talking instinctive decision making, not gamestyle / role

He is brisbane academy - was a jet in bottom age year kicking goals from wing outside 50. Didn't really come on this year and he is actually way more turnover king than SPP

Won the 20m sprint and has serious weapons but flaws also

Righto - it's definitely his weakness but if it wasn't he'd be pick 1 so hence he's not the finished product and maybe in mix for us with 13

Wouldn't discount him based on needs ......as i said i'll review harder now that we still have a pick

I suggest you look at Jordan Ridley as an interesting prospect

Can't see why he couldn't push up the ground
You'll have to expand, as i haven't heard of him ......which state ?

What's the knock on graham? State captain and larke medalist. Ready to go footballer looks like Ollie wines version 2.0 minus the annoying go home factor

Bicks have you been talking up Berry? I Like him too.:thumbsu: Whats with the kick though looks really awkward.
Kickings fine and I've seen a lot of him up close, Brodie Smith like penetration and depth is how I'd describe it, I've seen him play running defender well, midfield well, and Half forward well, offers so much versatility and I'll guarantee you he will not take a backward step, I'd describe him as bigger bodied Brodie Smith at the same age with a far harder attack on the contest and the man. Leadership in spades, Captained all of the Ballarat Rebels in the TAC Comp, the AFL Academy side and Victorian Country side at the U18 Championships this year. Will play AFL from year 1, already well developed body wise.

Don't mind the look of Berry.

21. Jarrod Berry (VIC)
Best position:
Utility
Height, weight: 191cm, 80kg
Recruited from: North Ballarat Rebels
Plays like: Jack Grimes
Projected draft range: first to second round
Rated last month: Unrated
Rationale behind ranking/change of ranking: Has found form late season now that he is healthy.
Strengths:
- Leadership
- Run and carry
- Burst of pace
- Shrugs tackles
- Contested-ball winning
- Puts body on the line
- Versatility to play multiple positions with the scope to play midfield, forward or back well
- Scoreboard impact when used forward of centre
- Reading of the flight
- Intercept marking
- Aerial marking
- Vision
- Hurt factor by foot when given time to lower eyes and find a target up the field
Weaknesses:
- Inconsistent footskills
- Rushes decision-making under pressure
- Unclear best position
