So how many picks are we expected to take tonight? We can take upto 6 right? Don't we have to leave a spot open if we want to upgrade a rookie during the season? So if we say take 5 picks then we could upgrade a rookie. The only other way would be to put someone on the long-term injury list. Am I understanding this correctly?

Elite speed, agility and a good kick, nice size, high character kid but very outside at this stage, if he was more a contested player he'd go a lot earlier than he will. Give him the pill with space in front of him and he can do some real damage.

Best bet is to sign up for foxtel play. Two week free trial. Cancel before two weeks is up and pay nothing. Fox footy doesn't work on PC though so you will need to use phone or ipad.

It's a very important sideshow to make sure that we take advantage of being one pick ahead of Port. I imagine lots of melts if it is deemed by the BF crowd that we have done worse than they did, especially if we do a Doodee-type "who" pick and they gobble up a BF favourite! Of course, the final reckoning can only occur after 5 or so years, but for PR purposes it would be better if our pick "looks" better than theirs tonight.

I think the main problem with the Doedee selection was the fact he'd barely picked up a footy, age on his side of course but less experience than Greenwood. Feels like too big a risk that early in the draft when the latter is a free hit on the rookie list for example.

the craziest thing I could imagine us doing this year is pick up Cox, and that might be tough to swallow if someone like Brodie is available but I'd back Hamish in on it.

I would be pretty stunned if we took a genuine unknown though, or Benny Jarman lol

He also seemed blissfully unaware that Adelaide actually has pick #90 (i.e. 6 picks in the ND). That was a weird interview.
