PA1870 & his mate remind me of the ex-Iraqi information minister. Easy to deny the truth if you live in a different universe lol.
 
I don't think that port will haggle too hard over HH when it gets down to it.
2 years ago they were the next big thing, then IMO after some silly drafting/trading they are now staring down the barrel of a 5 year re-build.
They will need to load up on high end talent, a second Rd pick should get it done.
 
The amount of trade hypotheticals that look like this are staggering: Crap + Crap + Pick 35 = A grade player.

If you're bringing in Rocky or Gibbs you are trading at a minimum a first round pick. And with our first pick pretty average it'd probably take something more than that.

Now with our window now I'm not against swapping our first this year or next for someone that can take us to the next level but it's fanciful to think we can bring in an A grade by swapping a player like Lyons and 2nd rounders.

Lever was draft on the back of Ruttens retirement in 2014 ......after defections by Davis and Bock .....you saying that wasn't a need (KPD)?

You keep going on about Doedee as a defender ....stop it !
Played a lot of junior footy as a forward

Doedee was drafted (and sold to us) as a defender. Best 1 on 1 in U/18's from memory.

Have any of the long list of players you've predicted to become midfielders ever ended up there?

A key defender was a need no doubt, it's just a luxury to use our first rounder on one when you can get a good result from a player like Kyle Hartigan. Aren't you a fan of the bloke we plucked from district cricket circles for instance?

Well I have mentioned the leadership friction numerous times & it doesn't make sense to put your vice captain up for a trade only 1 year after signing a long-term deal. Why not a non-leadership player? Something doesn't add up... But they are in denial & calling everyone a troll who doesn't accept their view. Banning anyone with a different view is like bigfootyChina...

We should probably look at drafting more defenders seeing as we've got such a glut of midfielders on our list - Lever, Doedee, Smith, Shaw, Otten...

No he wasn't ......that's peoples interpretation

Dangerfield was recruited as a HBF ......yes indeed, where they play at U18 level is irrelevant

Ben Ainsworth has predominantly played as a small forward the last two years ......will go top 5 in this draft .....do you think he's being drafted as a small forward or a midfielder? ......midfielder, as clubs DO NOT use a top 5 pick on a FP

Who have i predicted ?

If you're referring to Charlie Cameron ......that's a yes, i think we agree, and i nominated that in year one .....having to fight off posters saying he was strictly a small forward

I have said ....Milera, Menzel, and Greenwood, yes as midfielders ......also Knight

Anyone that i have indicated that hasn't gone thru the midfield that i've missed ......too early to judge me on Doedee yet

Just from the trade talk stuff from Twitter and Facebook I follow alot of different ones lol. Nothings concrete till players or clubs confirm only gossip until then. Sites can claim they know but they are wrong alot.
