If we get a pick of 25-30 for Lyons and then can snare another similar pick by offloading Mackay, CEY etc. Then we trade the 2 picks in the 20s for GWS pick 15 or 16 and maybe they can throw us back a pick in the 40s. We just have to get creative to try and get good talent in without sacrificing too much.

They are the three expendables imo. Lyons, CEY and Mackay where we could easily get solid 2nd rounders for.

Peter, the only point i'm trying to make is .....that whatever position players played as a junior, it's not locked in that's where they'll play at AFL level, or what the recruiters had in mind when drafting them ......would have thought that an easy premise for people to grasp ....obviously not

I didn't ask a question. I said there was more than 3 U18 champ games that the players play. They play many more games and play different roles.
I have watched the U18 champs the past two years.
Why are you being so aggressive?

Yeah I get it.

Look I've seen him live and athletically/physically, well, he's perfection ( no homo). Top 10 in combine for agility. He plays a nice game back there.

His junior coach says he's the best 1/1 defender in the draft but thought he'd go 30-40.

There's nothing there that screams mid but I'm hopeful
