Completely understand he is no chance and would cost the world. Just love the bloke and what he can do. Would elevate our team into the stratosphere

Naitanui would set up the Giants on field and off field. He would pull an extra 5,000 people through the gate and as members. He did live in Sydney once but he's such a talent and down to earth likable guy the only way it would ever happen was if he wanted a change of scenery. I don't think the club would dare push him out the door because the board and list managers would fear for their lives.

No offence taken BTW Bokonon. I think every team would love to have the big fella playing for them.

I think everyone hopes he can recover from his injury and make a successful return.

Can someone please let me know where Pickett is in the recovery stage of his injury. I cant seem to find anything on it other than knowing he was injured early this season. Cheers.

I know others on here are not so worried but i believe with all these players leaving we are 1 or 2 injuries away from being back in the pack.

Mummy goes down and Downie is not holding up the fort.

Cameron goes down and then WHE doesnt come in

Greene goes down and pickett gone

A defender gone and no marchbank.

Yes we had a good year but dont forget we were lucky with injuries

The sense of entitlement from young players these days is astounding.

I keep hearing "opportunity starved" in relation to someone like Jack Steele.

17 games in two years (would have been more but for a broken hand)

Jobe Watson: 13 games in first three years
Rory Sloan: 15 games in first two years
Leigh Montagna: 13 games in first two years
Boomer Harvey: 18 games in first two years
Robert Harvey: 16 games in first two years
Dayne Swan: 16 games in first two years

Not everyone comes in and plays every game.

Get an Effing grip.

I do remember Jack saying in an interview before his debut thay he had been frustrated that guys had got a gane before him. Seemed a bit cocky

I disagree with that. If Greene gets injured Palmer is his replacement. If Mummy goes down we'd share the load between Lobb, Flynn and whatever we pick up in the next fortnight.

Defender goes and Himmelberg is cherry ripe to come in or Buntine or Kennedy for a small stopper.

Mids are covered with Kennedy and Setterfield plus whatever else we bring in.

We still have more depth than anyone but will get rid of a lot of dead salary cap wastage and bring in some new prospects.

Not concerned at all.

Cmon Icha, it's not about us, it's about them. They do the math, don't like the answer and go were they believe they are wanted or more importantly best 22

Not one of these were a first round pick

Picks 7,13 & 16 from 2015 not locked in beyond next year yet. Our ability 2 retain top picks is a concern if they are all so impatient.
