Chris Wharton: Chief Executive Officer Seven West Media WA

In his current role, Chris is responsible for all Seven West Media assets in Western Australia: The West Australian, West Regional Publications (23 mastheads), its online properties, WA Publishers, Redwave Media (nine regional radio license areas) and Channel 7 Perth.
He joined the West Coast Eagles board in November, 2013.

Now it all makes sense.

Maybe a bit pedantic but it should be "arseholes", not assholes. I'm also posting this to demonstrate that both those words are acceptable (somehow) and you're not circumventing the swear filter.
Yes I thought the Australian version might be banned on BF ;)

Cheers for clarifying that, arseh*le.

Well... no conflict of interest there at all. Nothing to see here...

Can someone explain this 'joke' to me from Peter Daicos about his son getting drafted.

"... then getting to Collingwood, I couldn't be happier. But again, had he ended up anywhere um, other than uh Fremantle I would have been happy." *laughs* *dismissive nah nah*

Is it 'non-success' thing?

(About 1 - 2 minutes in)
Maybe his son is not very good, and he thinks we'd be quick to delist him when we realise he's a spud?

If he's like his old man, he's a seagull with no defensive side to his game. :p He knows RTB would bust his balls the first time he didn't chase.

Just wanted to mention that in today's Rohan Connelly Freo reference, he started with "... and I don't want to continually make Freo a whipping boy, but Fremantle to me...."

So if you're reading this message as well Rohan, thank you for that.

I think you're right about this.

Another example, Rohan Connelly often uses Freo as his go to 'unpopular interstate club' reference.

where was this?

On SEN he suggested due to ross' style we missed out on a flag, he did then say though that on the flip side we may not have even got there without that style. I agree with the latter, opening up the game against the Hawks with our lack of skills would've been the same result if not worse.

Now is the time though to unleash the shackles, we have some weapons.

When Ross said we lost our identity, he may have been referring to a number of things but I'd expect it included that style of play and a focus on defence. I'm sure they'll be working on moving the ball quick to the weapons but when we don't have it, let's hope we see the return of some of that pressure we saw against Sydney in the '13 Prelim.

Some interesting comments here. Looks like our forwardline will be playing with more 'instinct' than the structured mess we've had the last two years, which is a massive positive change for mine.

And Ballas saying he's thrilled to still be with Freo..... I'm sorry for everything I said over trade period Hayden :rainbow:

Same old stuff!
To summarise: West Coast did everything possible for Ben,it's all his own fault,Freo are decomposing from the head down,Lyon struggling to hold the playing group and Fyfe is off to Victoria.
He's unstable,but good for a larrf.
