Chant night and fake crowd noises at home games trumps all of those.

Most people, some crow fans included, refuse to believe me when I tell them about these innovative initiatives.
Nah, they don't. Don't get me wrong chant night was shit, fake crowd noises, has that been confirmed? Anyway, that's a fail of marketing. Big deal.

Besides Jenny Williams and the tarps, the famous Port embarrassments are all on field related and that's what it's all about.

And one could say, the tarps was the worst of the all, because that showed up your supporter base as bandwagoners who abandoned their club when they needed them.

Practicing marching to Adelaide Oval, having your cheer squad turn up to an empty redbacks Sheffield shield test and chant POWA, POWA, POWA. Don't think your team is immune from cringe-worthy acts.

Fake crowd noise, much like John Butcher having any talent, is a myth created by Tealsters here.

Chant night was real:straining:

But the reason why no Crowies will talk to you about Chant Night is because the first and second rules of Chant Night are that we don't talk about Chant Night.

Fake crowd noise at crows games was definitely real. Laughable, but real. Before the centre bounce after a goal they amped the speakers, no doubt about it. In 2014 it was there. 2015 I didn't go to a crows game so they may have canned it.
Funny how the only people to talk about this are Tealsters here.

Whatever keeps you guys happy...........

Personally don't see how it would be a big deal anyway. Only discussed by you guys as you hold on to that "crown" of loudest crowd in the Universe so tightly. You guys get so upset when the contrary is suggested. Almost as if you guys are upset we are cheating in some sort of contest about this.

End of the day our supporters drowned out the siren, and that annoyed Eddie.

Seriously, the fake crowd noises were 100% real. I'm not sure if they still do it but I have heard it myself. Even you are in disbelief. I heard them at the second showdown in 2014, a crows home game. I was in the southern stand, in the nosebleeds where I heard the same cheering noises and applause occurring regularly, appearing to come from a speaker nearby and sounding the same each time. I initially dismissed it as I too was in disbelief until 3/4 time when I went to join my friend who couldn't handle it up the top due to vertigo (I thought he was just being weak personally) as he had chosen to watch the game standing at ground level behind the goals. When I approached him, the first thing he said to me was "did you hear the fake crowd noise coming over the PA?" and at that point I realised it was real. I couldn't believe it as I was not used to such a non organic atmosphere. I can only assume crows fans who haven't heard it are either too in to the game, in denial or too adapted to a fabricated environment to pay attention to it. No one I have spoken too about it has ever heard of anything like that occurring anywhere else. In a way, fake crowd noises sort of explains the need for a chant night. These things also fall in line with other innovations from the crows, such as last years 12 days of crows Christmas video. Whilst the natural instinct from you guys would be to now rattle off various comparisons to these things from the PAFC in some sort of response to this post, I'm not sure much comes close to the things I have mentioned, regardless of what angle it is spun from when described. Anyway, I don't usually hang out here and am probably unwanted so I'm off now.

Before you go, do you acknowledge off field marketing embarrassments are not a patch on what happens on the ground?

That fake crowd noise must have been played at a frequency only Tealsters can here.

BTW, how do you feel about Kicking for Chicken? Gets real cringeworthy when people with John Butcherlike footy ability take forever trying to get the ball into the giant bucket. Kochie must be spewing as those guys get more ground time than he does.

What you mean in the game itself? If you are saying off field marketing embarrassments are not directly related to the game itself then I guess I agree with that. Such embarrassments do somewhat define and definitely represent the actual organisation and demonstrates the level of nous and understanding of what the targeted actual market needs for stimulation.

Big denial and somewhat irrelevant to my points. A response in line with what I predicted earlier. Anyway, I know better than to continue interaction with you Geoffa. L8A !

I mean marketing versus on field results. Because chant night goes no where near 119, your losses to GWS and Gold Coast and the Dream Final

Who really gives a stuff about fake crowd noise? You can hardly complain about fake noise anyway. Much of your current fan base consists of bandwagoners (fake supporters) making noise. You seriously have nothing better to do than complain about this anyway?

Sure, you can argue that it's embarrassing, but it's clearly just encouraging the crowd to get into the game (I admit our crowds tend to go quiet when the opposition gets on a run, as most crowds do). It's pretty similar to that time your crowd's noise was measured in decibels and compared to the Seattle Seahawks if you think about it.

In any case, it's not particularly offensive, and it clearly wasn't fake crowd noise that caused the siren to be drowned out against Collingwood or the roar when Brad Crouch kicked that goal to sink your mob in that 2014 Showdown. Get over it.

What about Tex and the checkout Chick?
Yeah I walked into that one but the way you guys carried on was typically feral.

I got called a ****ing dickhead, watched you lot carry on like rabid dogs and didn't bite back. And yet the ******** gives me an infraction whilst leaving those posts.

As far as I'm concerned you are all a bunch of ferals so don't expect any pleasantries going forward.
