That piece on Bam Bam and Perryman by Emma Quayle is superb.
Was a nice story but will be nicer when we re-sign BAM!

They need to thier own A-squared type thing, Perryman is a classic.
I reckon if they paired Timmy Taranto with young Perryman and got them to review different things, one week send them pig shooting (or skeet to be PC) the next send them manscaping in the eastern suburbs.
Call it The City Slicker & The Country Bumpkin.
I think it would be quite entertaining to take them out of their comfort zones.
Nothing really new but in the tail end of this article it mentions that Smith is close to re-signing but if Kelly stays then we will likely lose at least one of Matt Kennedy and Hopper but if Kelly goes then we will likely keep everyone else.

As happy as I am about this I'm also in 2 minds
If josh stays for 2 years for flags and leaves at the cost of losing MK and hopper who would've stayed for their whole career opportunity permitting then we have shot ourselves in the foot

I'll be disappointed if we lose Hopper
Be disappointed in him if he goes. We paid a high draft price with the early Gold Coast bid and Leon continually gave him games when he wasn't contributing.
Probably owes us something.

I'm actually ok with losing hopper. We have so many mids that are like him and losing him means getting games into setterfield who has a point of difference
I don't mind losing him, just wish we had gone elsewhere

At the time it was the correct call to draft him. A nsw boy that was an inside beast. He still is a beast but a one paced beast that doesn't provide anything different to what we have in the midfield already

He didn't choose to be drafted by us, or the trade price. Dont see any sign he wants to go, or vica versa.

Hoping the rumours are true and Kelly, Smith and Bam Bam are all re-signing but with the loss of Hopper.
If you had told me that at the beginning of the year would be over the moon and called it a big win.
Though it is amusing seeing the media say Hopper should move for more opportunity. Shows they dont watch or keep up to date with our games.
