If you haven't seen Murphy turn the ball over twice in a game then you don't watch too much footy.

As for that bit about *******most of his kicks up, exageration seems to be an art form of yours.

Mate ive watched carlton play over 800 times live.
If u go back to the stats of the game he turned it over more than twice. Yes other players turn over footy in games but he makes dumb turnovers. Others turn it over trying to be creative or set play up but he ***** it up when just trying to move ball forward. The 2 melb turnovers i speak about where just that. Simple kicks to blokes who had some space. He missed and directly resulted in goals.
Its no coincidence he averaged more clangers than any other player at carlton last yr.
I don't want blokes who cannot execute simple kicks to teammates. His type and there are a few are a big reason why we dont score enough. They dont kick to the forwards advantage

Remember we didnt always have interstate teams and always played on a sat so easy to go to 22 h&a games. We also played lots snd lits of finals

Yeap ur rite plenty of blokes in league like kerridge...doesnt make it any better we have him. Best thing sos is trying to do is get kids who make good decsions and kick well. Everytime kerridge graham boek for example get the ball i hold my breath. Evetytime fish or sps get it restores my faith.
Thats the diff. The comp is so even cause every team is full of so many average players.
Never know the comp to have so many teams rely on so few for them to play well. This yr is the worst lot of team ive seen on my time pllay finals. Richmond worst team ive seen win a flag..period.
Its ehy the sooner we get rid of these average disposal players the better. The comp is screaming out for a great footy team again.
Blues and lions have every chance if they continue to pump excellant players into their list and get gsmes into them..to fly past the rest of the comp and hsve a period of tital domination

We love to get excited about our young bucks but the reason they can play 20-odd games in their first year is guys like Kerridge who pick up the defensive workload. Respect where it's due.

Fair enough, he is super down back. Just worried about our midfield now, have doubts our traded players and draft picks can fill the hole Gibbs has left.
Also not sure there are any DFA midfielders worth getting??

Patience grasshopper! We are building our midfield slowly but surely, and it will be centred around a lot of early draft picks and likely a star FA later down the line. Similar story with the forward line. When the time comes, our team will be a mighty one.

Nothing against Levi, he takes a great mark, but he has too many deficiencies for an AFL player and he has cost us several games.
With time Weiters will become a very good forward and given the plethora of backmen at our disposal, now is the time to try McKay, C Curnow and Weiters together in the forward line.
Play Casboult in the two's at the start of season and it will send a message that no one is gifted a game at the Navy Blues

Levi is a role player being asked to be a star . And he is not. I want to see how levi performs when he is not the #1 banana . That can only come with a real forward structure around him. Harry is part of that. so is Charlie , SOS and maybe Rayner. I can wait

Agree the next two drafts are super impressive 2018 &19 drafts will see us on our way to the top again. This year we should land a quality mid at least , next year we'll settle our KPF deficiencies , Lukosius or a King bros possiblity and Ben Sivagni should do it. Hickmont W is shaping as another quality mid, not sure about Mantin's postion ability. 2019 continue midfield.
