Carlton midfielder Patrick Cripps can accept a $1000 fine for forceful front-on contact on Fremantle's Brady Grey. The incident was graded careless conduct with low impact to the head.

So Cripps involved in a perfect bump, that may have caught Grey slightly high and a fine is issued. But similar fines are being handed out if you grab some jumper and smack a guy in the jaw? Bewildering

Yep, what a load of crap. By the MRP's idiotic logic, Sandilands should be suspended/fined for his bump on Cripps, which was also off the ball IIRC

I know it's Cripps and we love him, but the bump did get the head. He chose to bump a player bending down to pick up the ball instead of doing the same. Cripps is lucky he made most of the contact below the head and it didn't utterly destroy Grey. He'd be sitting in the stands for several weeks if he did.
