You've seen his highlights right?
Yep and spoken with people who's seen more junior footy than most.

Looks a genuine footballer and deserves some slack for carrying injury. But he did have a very shit year (by his own admission!) and you need to be careful not to be too lenient on 'injured in draft year' types.

For every Jake Lever or Ryan Burton out there, there are a stack of Billy Morrison, James Sellar, Tom Swift, Beau Muston, Troy Menzel types out there who were injured in their draft year who never reach their potential, or alternatively, have been mixed up in some sort of nostalgic ideal of what they once were.

Fogarty looks to me like he is medium paced (at best) and will unlikely be a KP player despite being a KP height. I'm just not sold on what AFL role he'd play. Based on his highlights, his most assured game was as a HBF. Ran into trouble heaps as a midfielder and dropped plenty as a forward. I'm not filled with confidence about him being a Gunston / Darling / Tom Lynch (Adel.) medium sized forward. We don't need a slowish HBF with a good kick with an injury history (we got Shaz for that!) and our midfield needs less medium paced types.

Don't get me wrong, good kick, great don't argue and natural footy player, and I'd draft him at the right price not long after Pick 6, but I have a gut feel that there will be a better option for us. But hey, if we draft him, I hope Buckenara is right and that he's the best player in the draft (ie. a Bucken Beauty!). Just don't feel like he's an injured 'slider' in the Judd / Lever mould.

Still have no idea who I want us to draft. Hell, I still have no idea who I don't want us to draft.

At least we have a Top 10 Pick this time. So there is Good Talent to Pick From not like last 2 Years where been Pick around 30 where we started

Highlights from last year:

Coffield is the way to go.

Coffield or Fogarty would be great also like Cerra as a 3rd option, any of those 3 and I'll be happy.

Fogarty is copping a lot of heat based off his Champ games, the guy carried a meniscus tear well before and into champs 100% it would of limited his pace and even his maximum power output.
Being the touted player he also had a LOT of focus put on him by the opposition none more so evident then the VM game where he was targeted (fairly) every time he went near the ball. Something he wouldn't of experienced before and when not 100% soething hard to work through.

Yes there is a worry out there that he peaked last year but I think its a ridiculous call, he has stepped up and played vs men in SANFL this would alone give him many hurdles as he deals with harder bodies, fitter players and more experienced opponenants etc. He had good form early season prior to injury and still held the "potential" number 1 tag until his form fell away by mid season. That in it self shows improvement as he stepped up a level and was handling it.

He's a great kick and throws himself in like a bull at a gate when fit.

The Magpies could go a number of ways with their first selection but opt for the talented South Australian inb a real toss of the coin. If Brayshaw falls through he could be the man, while they'll also look long and hard at Jaidyn Stephenson and Aaron Naughton. The whisper that has been doing the rounds in recent days is that they could take Ed Richards – that would throw things into chaos!
Who else? Andrew Brayshaw, Aaron Naughton, Jaidyn Stevenson, Ed Richards

38 Collingwood (F/S) Tyler BROWN Eastern Ranges

57 Collingwood Dom BARRY Glenelg

60 Collingwood Matthew DAY Oakleigh Chargers

ED RICHARDS in my Opinion be a Over Paying

Knightmare has Balta going to us at 6.

I have a feeling Balta drifts and doesn't get taken until 16-22 range.
Balta is this year's Recce McKenzie where he rates him top 10 but more Likely go Mid 2nd Round at Highest

Reminds me of the forward Saints picked up who drifted.

Josh Battle

Could throw Todd Marshall into that category as well.

Battle was Intresting he was not rated as a Top 10 but was seen as a Bargin at 39. Marshall was big low but not outside his Draft Range

“I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how well I have picked it up.”

Day finished the season averaging 15 disposals, six marks, four tackles across his 15 TAC Cup games, impressing with his decision-making in traffic, versatility at 189cm and 78kg and ability to push forward as a third tall.

“I’ve showed glimpses of what I can do but I’ve only played two or three games where I’ve been 100 per cent happy with,” he said.

“I’ve still got a lot of things to improve on but just the game speed I picked up on pretty well and the demands of the year, week-in, week-out, I’ve adjusted to pretty well.”

He looks like something out of a starwars movie.
