First Queen's Birthday game in a long time that's actually good

QLD don't have Queen's birthday holiday in June anymore... it sucks. Got to watch the end of the game and it looked like a cracker.

I think Port should let Trengove leave at the end if this year. If any other club would want him.

He is actually a poor defender and they have Logan Austin who will be better. A backline of Austin, Hombsch, Clurey and Jonas is not too bad.

Trengove is a poor forward. This is what they are tryi g to shoehorn him into, to also provide second Ruck option to Ryder.

Years ago on the Bay I always said Trengove's most natural position is Ruck. Only problem is he is too short for the modern game. Is playing 10 years too late to be an elite Ruckman. But his tapwork is quite good for a now undersized Ruck and he is good at winning the clearance in the middle.

But you can't pay someone the salary he would demand to play such a niche role. Port don't have the balls to make tbis decision and will pay him over $500k to keep him to the detriment of the team.

Aerial domination, speed and penetrating long kicks and dour defensive mindset.

It's a pity we can only drop 400kay once from our best 22. I'm just not sure who these three would replace currently.

Sadly Otto is slower than treacle and has the Queen Mary's turning circle thanks to knee injury. Our forward defensive pressure would treble if he was swapped with McGovern.

Still amazed that Clarko copped a four match ban from the juniors for abusing the umpires in an under 9s match - while being a senior AFL coach at the time!

Hurts my head that he can be a four-time AFL premiership coach yet such a buffoon. Is he the AFL's Trump? Probably too harsh on Alistair but he's a shocker.

If he became Crows coach in October 2014 as per the rumour, we'd have a premiership or be very close to it by now

I took the dog to the dog park for the first quarter as I wasn't sure I would like to watch it, then heard about what was happening talking to a few other dog owners and decided that heading home to watch it might be a good idea.

Got texts to say stop laughing at 1/4 time

We've obviously had a few hiccups this season that have made us question our credentials but the difference here is they genuinely needed to win that game in terms of ladder position/top four too. Will be a costly loss.
