I'd be happy with two firsts, but is it realistic?

He's good but he's not Brownlow Dangerfield good - and we couldn't get two firsts for him.

I know Geelong said they might have done that if we'd pushed them - so let's assume Danger, on the brink of a Brownlow, was worth that.

Is Lever?

Play the hardest hard ball ever.

Got to remember Dangerfield wasn't offered $900k. He's probably worth that but he didn't go for $$$. So as Jake is reported to be going for that figure, he should bring in a higher "reward" than Danger did.
How much is his extended family now earning?

Whilst I have no doubt family reasons was his main reason for moving back, I'm confident he's not a pauper...

Well it looks like North Melbourne players will all be getting a big pay rise this year.

From the numbers it seemed like North were throwing around about 3 million on Dusty and Kelly so they will more than likely now have to allocate to that money to the playing list because they have to spend 95% of their 12.45m cap.

So you would be happy with pick 10, that could balloon out to 13 or 14 with academy picks and pick 15 thst could balloon out to 18 or 19?

I want something concrete that we know we have. I don't like the uncertainty of that pick.

I wonder if hathorne still do that trade with St Kilda if they know it ends up being a pick 6?
It is Melbourne though... it's not out of the realms of possibility that they regress and we end up with a top ten pick in a supposedly strong draft (I don't think this will actually happen, but still, Melbourne...).

Oh I'm quite sure you are right. I just meant in terms of draft picks worth in relation to the size of the contract.

I see Neil Craig is on the panel to pick the Gold Coast coach.

I wonder how impartial he will be with his protege Bassett applying?
Meh.. the whole AFL industry is very incestuous. I doubt there would be anyone on the panel without ties to at least one of the candidates.

Another interesting topic from that Player Agent show, was that Dangerfield's manager was very aware of players presence in the media, and that it was important for players not to receive over-exposure in the media. How does she explain this year ??
"You try telling Danger he can't over-expose himself."
