Josh Kelly 30 disposals and 10 tackles today. Mr Consistent now, he would take a lot of pressure off Steven.

Dream result: trade in Kelly and Lever, pick up another Free Agent gun.

He was good last week as well. Think he'll go on with it from here and become a very handy/top 5 player in your team type from here on. Racks up touches, kicks well and is kicking a fair few snags.

I think we all are talking about talent for Billings but so far he has not shown any signs of improvement or skills which stand out. You see guys like Petrecca even after ACL injury playing like a champ. Guys like L Neale and Kelly playing really good footy.

How long we persist with Billings? I know he had some injury and had interrupted preseason but that cannot be excuse all the time. See petrecca who had an ACL and now playing like a champ.

Oliver is the one I wanted and still do. Next Dangerfield which I said at draft time, why our guys can't pick what even forumites can see I don't know. Caleb Daniel was popular, Dewar was blowing his load over Balic, Petracca was an overwhelming choice by fans etc. Even big mart wanted us to get hold of Luke Parker. Why can't the club spot talent?

Petracca had a pretty vanilla game yesterday before one outstanding piece of play that showed what he has the potential to be. Has great attributes but still developing into that, as you'd expect of a third year player.

Come on. Petracca has looked better in more games than Billings and that's coming off an ACL and a year less in the AFL. Billings has had 2 or 3 really good to very good games and then big drop offs. Petracca may not have had those big games yet but is far more damaging. I'm sure stats will show they are close but id rather watch both play and Petracca is ahead. Having said that who really cares. We haven't got him bit we do have Billings and I hope today he shows why he was a pick 3 and not on nondescript pick 23.

Big Mart wanted Parker after his first year. Don't fall for that. And if we want but who everyone wanted we would need 30 picks every year. Surely the post is a piss take. It has to be. Sorry I didn't pick that.

He has not re-signed the contract yet . Maybe he is taking his time or we are not ready to pay higher amount yet.

I actually said I like Bont but worry he's a mid but might end up continuing to grow and end up like a Andreas Everett type of utility. Too tall for mid but too short for KP. I was all over him just nervous of popping early. Said I wished we had a pick a bit later to off set risk.

We were brave and traded a pick for Carlisle and what became Gresham. You can't just get every good prospect.

The dogs also had Billings at 3 and Melbourne had him before Kelly. It's just the way it goes. Need JB to get his confidence up, the talent is there.

We were brave and traded a pick for Carlisle and what became Gresham. You can't just get every good prospect.

I don't want every one just one or two good ones from our high picks. So far Gresham looks like a gun but he's not there yet and Carlisle has missed a year, been suspended by the club and is just going ATM.

Maybe my memory isn't great but I thought it went a little different to that because I do remember saying height wont matter. By the way that doesn't mean I wanted him. Doubt I even knew who he was.
