It's pretty simple - you said:
"West Coast will be thinking its 17 or better forgetting about RFA comp"
Like an entire football Club doing this for a living will over look that.............
So unless your syntax means something different - it presumes your suggestion will in some way be smarter than their thinking on such matters. I find that extraordinary. But go ahead and presume that if you wish.
If you mean something completely different then say so.
So you are getting up me on syntax??
why don't you be specific about your argument????
It takes a special one to think what you think in my opinion!!!!
Oh boy, wow we!!!!!
The forgetting about RFA comp was in the context of the argument West Coast will be thinking its 17 or better.
"Forgetting" is communication to the viewers as a qualification so the 17 or better made sense in reality. Otherwise if RFC came second and there was 5 top end FA compos like Lynch 17 would become 22.
Who am I to pretend I now what West Coast thinks apart from the basics that, like I said, that they are competitors, that they will be attempting to win in 2019, that they will be thinking (ceteris paribus ) RFC will at best come second to West Coast!!!
Wow, leapfrogged on a tangent there!!! Sure I my have loosened the syntax but I was not anticipated that type of tangent thought from a reader!! I did not think you, or anybody else, would think that any poster could think they knew more than the club itself in what the club thinks unless the poster stated so verbatim!!!! I would have thought culturally all posters deserved benefit of the doubt on that one!!
I said West Coast would be thinking 17 or better, I did not say West Coast would be forgetting about RFA comp specifically, but then again, I thought that would be obvious!!
