I did, same with Ainsworth.

I could have used sub 177cm and that would have changed it further.

I Hill being at 174cm will see him fall.
I don't know if I would use the top picks on a small forward, back pocket player. They are good players but the game
Is won in the midfield, sure if the midfield is solid then a quality KP is best available.

Total agree. That's why I think Hill will fall.

If the club is into him, maybe down grading our first pick might be an option.

192cm midfielder, I won't be surprised to see him follow in Brayshaw's footprints and be a bolter.
Every club is looking for that type to build a midfield around, Saints should be all over it.
They need either agility, speed or both. Bont and Mundy both have an elite side step, Fyfe gets to top speed straight away.

Mobile, ground ball getting, high marking, elite kicks should be pick #1

I think the club should and would be keeping a close eye on ex WA talls that have moved interstate, are developing, but don't have a clear path to a best 22. Guys like Miller at Richmond.
Cherry pick the 3-4 years players. You don’t have pain of development and you get players for way unders.

What makes you think this.. trading week is likely to be busy again, and I suspect Dillon is likely to be a 3rd round to Rookie chance.

Don’t kid yourself that he is going to go first or second round!
I assumed he meant in terms of having exclusive rights to him as a father son.
Making assumptions over where a player will end up going in the draft this early is always going to be waste of time.

Father son isn’t going to happen, but he may be a late pick... errr if we get some late picks LOL

I'd imagine Dixon and O'Reilly project the same? Or is O'Reilly a weapon?

Haven't seen anything personally. And I wouldn't get excited about the AFL giving us access because we were 2 games short. They are pricks

O'Reilly has the problem of being a little in-between height at 192-193cm without seemingly express speed. The advantages with him is he hits the scoreboard easily.

Will he grow more this year though? His old man was quite tall.

If he has a footballers brain, reads the ball well in flight then that's all a good player needs to get separation.
McCarthy would be elite if he could read the flight of the ball better, Kersten has speed, no white line fever or strong
contested mark.
A similar game to Waterman's boy and I would pull the trigger.
