That’s a way to ruin a Sunday morning! Also explains peel going down like they did, down to 17 men is a huge disadvantage.

Which posters were bitching about us having too many rucks on the list and that Sandilands should retire?

Definitely not me, you can never have too much depth!!!!depth on a list wins flags.

I doubt all those players are injured..seems a bit extreme. Darcy is the only one officials reported about yet. Maybe he got a little knock and was managed?

This mornings Sunday Times also mentions Apness and a leg injury, any one see what happened there? I was hoping he was getting back to full fitness.

Broken foot was the report.

one report said suspected knee, another lower leg. Hopefully he just grazed his knee and required a bandaid in the rooms

Is PCL any better news? Apeness has had 2 PCL reconstructions which both took 12 months to heal.

Or is a reconstruction not always required?

Not sure if it would be better news. Depends on the severity. It was referred to as the "ruckman's curse" a while back when there was a spate of them. If it is a serious PCL then it could be season over (e.g. Rioli last year), then there could be a long term impact for his ruckwork, especially at centre bounces. Fingers crossed it is just a minor tweak.

Fair dinkum the club needs to lift it's game re keeping the fans informed

Who is saying it’s a pcl ?

No one. The West has the following, but that doesn't mean PCL. Could be a medial or who the hell knows.

"A Fremantle spokesperson said the injury would not require surgery"
