No clue how I forgot ThorHimmelburg a bit stiff?
I've done similar. Not sure if it was accidental. Every year there are surprises. Spoule is interesting, looks ok from what I've seen of him.No clue how I forgot Thor
I imagine we'd have to draft him in some form if it goes ahead?Zac Clark gave us a visit this week
If we have Clarke then I don't know why we would need Mummy.Could it be the club is looking at Clarke or Mumford or both? If it is both it could mean the club is not keeping Keefe and I would hope that at least 1 of the rucks is on the rookie list
So will it be Monday for any delistings?
If we have Clarke then I don't know why we would need Mummy.
Especially as we have Simpson, Flynm and soon Briggs

It's an interesting scenario. If we do that we would have to to satisfy him financially you'd think. Relocating with no guarrantee of being drafted. Would these payments be permitted if the UWS Giants made them? Outside the cap?Simpson and Mumford first rucks (Injury risks over both)
Flynn I think would play forward/ruck
Briggs developing
I don't think it is within the rules but I would bring him over and have him play NEAFL somewhere and with the mid season rookie draft he could be picked up then
I don't think a player is allowed to train with the club apart from before the draft for 2 weeks but with the mid season draft an opportunity is there for the club to pick up a ruck from the state leagues if needed
The club needs to cover all possibilities and I think the Eagles may pick him up first

Clarke isn't in the same galaxy, let alone league..
If he is REALLY cheap I could stand it, but most likely would be just another reason for me to hate this post season
I saw him not that long ago, he is fit as hell, I'd back him in.That's peak mummy. Are we going to get him after a year off?

Fair enough.I saw him not that long ago, he is fit as hell, I'd back him in.
Clarke was delisted at 26 (when most rucks are entering their prime) for a reason.
Yep, fair cop, I'd still back the man mountainFair enough.
Though MDB was delisted as well and look at him go.

Could we be outbid in the draft?
I can see if he was offerred a rookie list spot and games in the Eagies new reserve team minimum he'd very likely prefer that.I still think the Eagles will pick him up in the Rookie draft even though he played for Freo they could play him in the WAFL and he is playing the same league, they could have
Hickey, Vardy, Kennedy and Darling and as first choice talls
then
Clarke, Olango and Mcinnes as options as rucks or forward/rucks
unless they pick up one of the 10 ruck/forwards the Dockers have that they delist
“The mid-season rookie draft will only be available to clubs that have a spare rookie position available.”
I believe the intent is to replace LTIs, hard to imagine a team would deliberately start the season short one“The mid-season rookie draft will only be available to clubs that have a spare rookie position available.”
Does that mean we draft one less rookie to start with or does a new position entirely open up?
