Thoughts on this team? Feels kind of weird because I am reasonably happy with it, yet for some reason I feel like I shouldn't be.

Some things to note: My forward line is weak by design. I will not consider the following under any circumstances as to avoid any violent bowel movements: H. Shaw, J.J, Dollhouse, Trelolololol,

With Williams doing his Achilles and Nathan Wilson sent to Freemantle I reckon Setterfield will get a decent run off halfback.

I have the same feeling about Jack Scrimshaw at the Suns as KK plays more through the midfield.

70k leftover, so I could drop christensen to a rookie and turn Treloar into Danger.

Looks good ....well balanced

Do you think by season's start you'll finish with 3 x $200k approx Midfield Rookies?
depends on form and other rookies coming through. At this moment, Setterfield is being talked up as one of the ones to replace Williams. LDU is a gun and Norf have no midfield. While Brodie plays for the Suns, big bodied midfield with another pre season under his belt. They need to find the right midfield mix to be competitive and Brodie is certainly in that group

Training update from the Crows ....

Hass noted some pre-season standouts among the group of emerging Crows.

“A couple of guys coming into their second year, Myles Poholke and Jordan Gallucci, have made some really big inroads,” he said.

“We want them to play through the midfield, so they’ve come back and run midfield times, so that was really impressive.

“Wayne Milera has come back and done likewise. He’s always in good condition, but took it to another level.”

Not to be outdone, established players have also stepped up throughout the summer training block.

Hass identified All-Australian duo Daniel Talia and Matt Crouch as two Crows who are leading the way.

“Dan is running fantastically well, and Matty Crouch has made some significant improvements, so the ‘golden jacket’ might improve again next year.”
