2018 Rate My Team (Post JLT)

Howdy campaigners, I am back after my end of season bigfooty break!

Have seen Ruby a couple more times at the puppy pub (will post pics in Bev Hills but not get banned this time!

Just put my team together tonight and it took me about 15-20 mins.

Pretty happy with this team, just rookies I need to sort out.

Nearly all rookies are place holders till I get a better idea which ones start round 1.

$99,700 in the kitty.

Thanks man. Yeah Rampe is a bit of a punt but I like his price and if he can get back to his best then he will be a good pick I reckon.

No Danger, Dusty and T.Mitchell. Too expensive IMO.

I know they will drop in price in the first half of the year and then I will pick them up!

Lock Jacky martin in the fwd line too lads, Should be playing midfield this year and is due for a proper break out year. With him and Harley Davidson Bennel in my fwd line im either a ****ing genius or an absolute idiot.

Gawn & Nik-Nat look a good value ruck combo .......will people be selecting Nankervis again, maybe Lobb ?

Lobb is in my forward line. Averaged 100.5 last season in the games Mumford did not play. Now GWS number one ruck at $396k, well worth the punt I reckon.

Agree Lobb is in my team. Also considering Deledio is he gets through pre season. He’s a chance to play off half back. Injuries a worry of course.

The best structured team I've seen so far. People thinking they can start 3 rookies in the backs and forwards are just kidding themselves. You could probably do 2 in the forwards, Willie Rioli and Ryan. Use the cash from Degooy to upgrade to an Uber premo in the mids and from Bennell to upgrade in the Backs. Have a look at the article on West coast changing their forward structure on The AFL site, Venables is also on the cusp. Great job

Have done a quick draft of my first team. Rookies are all place holders as I have done zero research on them so far.

My only question is: How the f%% do I get into Beverley Hills to check out Judd_Magic 's puppy photo's??

Looks like mostly GNR for me this year. Last year was mid priced madness that seemed to serve me well. Will wait until I get a better form line on the rookies.

Surprised I haven't seen M Crouch in more teams so far. Averaged 125 after the bye last year.

Love the Crouch & Billings picks. Ive personally gone Oliver>Crouch but they’re both next gen super pigs.

Just wanna throw it out there, absolutely horseshit Lobb isn't Ruck/Fwd.

Surely they can have the foresight to know he isn't playing as a forward in 2018, not only that... he had 221 hit outs last year which is 70 more than Pederson who qualifies as a ruck/fwd.
