McEvoy is not a forward. He’s a ruckman that kicks goals. He won’t kick many more goals a pure forward.

Why have Ceglar when McEvoy is a very competitive ruckman. His ruck work improved this year quite a bit & he was the highest scoring ruck.

McEvoy does the job very well. Wouldn’t like Morrison or someone like that missing out due to Ceglar. O’Brien competes well as a pinch hit ruckman.

Mate, McEvoy was number one ruck all last season and that hasn't changed.

McEvoy and Ceglar have both been eased into this preseason and neither have competed in any match sims, so I'd be steering well clear of both for now.

I disagree about the forwards being shit this year, any one of Heeney, Billings, Greene, Barlow, Gray, Winfard, Lobb, Smith, Franklin, Kennedy, Menegola, Dalhaus, Walters, Lynch e.t.c could be top 6. Where as for example the back line youd near lock in Yeo, Hibberd, Hurley and Laird to all be top 6 in defence for the year bbarrin injury.

I think the forward line is where the coaches that do well this year will find their decent pods, Be it a Devon Smith, a Walters or a Wingard type. Theres plently of value to be had.

Only 1 of then scored 100 last year. I don’t see any of them scoring over 100 this year. I agree with here2tellyouwhy, IMO much better value in the defence n mid.

Will watch Birchall pre season but if he's not likely to be a keeper then it's a no at that price. Trades are gold and if Burton is more likely to be a keeper then I'm better off going with him from the start. I'm not sold on O'meara yet for the same reasons. if he doesn't shoot the lights out in the preseason he'll be upgraded to a premo himself.

Last i can recall was Josh Gibson as a def and maybe ruffy.
Apart from that (despite them being a gun team) I'm struggling to recall any sc hawk

Gibson was an SC s**tstain. Always teased but never went to a true premo status.
