I wouldn't swap them straight up because of Angus's concussion issues but if he can get through a whole season without it bothering him then I would.
You think it would be a player<> player trade ... I think Brayshaw has done more and worth more at this stage... still it would be up to Melb. And yes the concussion is a consideration.The advantage for Freo would be to link the brothers..personally id pay a bit extra to get that done.

Don't see why Melbourne would do it though, don't think they need any more mids and should just work with what they have got. Would prefer to lose Andy Bradshaw over cerra

Maybe but you do not always get a choice. Id prefer to see Tim Kelly play 200 games at Geelong.

Id relate it to Geelong in 2006... they had a very good midfield yet when they had a chance they added Selwood. Its the ultimate sucker play to think yo have got you side so ..its time to forget the future and just be about now. It would only happen if Angus wanted it imo.

Jayden Hunt, what’s he worth?
I haven't seen a lot of him but at is best is a really good player IMO, provide run, carry and speed, would jump at him for the Lions. Worth is a hard one, not OOC so what about our 3rd rounder currently 38? Our 2nd rounder is too high ie 20. Interested in Daniel Rich?

Yeah I was thinking 3rd rounder especially if he spends the rest of the year in the VFL.

I’ve always liked Daniel Rich and thought a change of clubs might have been good for him, but he’s been loyal and hasn’t moved. Has his heart ever been truly in it? Have seen his name thrown around a lot this year by Lion fans. Would he come to Melbourne? Value hard to determine, we don’t have a second rounder but I would say somewhere around that mark.

Richy I think is one of those players who would be a really valuable cream on top type player in a contending side, unfortunately we haven't been anywhere near contending for a long time now. He has never been selected in any leadership groups during his time with us even though he is one of our few mature players. I think his heart is in it, he's a very frustrating player for fans who can see the elite potential and his best is very good but he very rarely shows consistency of performance over whole seasons.

He signed a long contract extension a couple of years ago to the end of 2021 so he's probably going nowhere.

What would Dylan Clarke cost if he was traded right now? He can’t get a game for Essendon despite his good form. He’s dominating in the VFL and would be close to leading the JJ Liston Trophy award.

He got a game a couple of weeks ago and didn't do a whole lot - less than Worpel has already shown in the seniors, for example. He has a few flaws in his game, particularly his kicking, that he can get away with in the VFL but which are really highlighted at senior level. I would think he's definitely gettable for a tempting offer; second rounder would do it, perhaps a third, but anything lower and it would depend on him agitating for the trade.

Well it’s hard to say as I see LDU a better prospect in the future just due to he’s silk, body shape and the role I see him playing in the future. Cerra is a very good player but to say he is worth pick 5 in this years draft you are dreaming. Picks in the top 10 this year seem to possess a lot of talent.
He’s worth that and more. Watch his game today?

There would be a lot of peeved bomber supporters if this eventuated. His form has been great at VFL level and with our dearth of inside players he should get another chance soon.

Signed a contract extension last week till end of 2019. Would be surprised if he was moved on. Would have to take a 2nd or 3rd rounder which i could understand other teams seeing as overs.

An interesting trade meri-go-round might be:

Gaff -> St Kilda
Westcoast -> 1st round compo

Lycett -> Geelong
Westcoast -> End of 1st compo

Westcoast -> Tim Kelly + Rhys Stanley
Geelong -> 1st round compo + 2rd round pick

Geelong won't be keen to lose Kelly but if he wants to go home with his wife and newborn twins wanting support, you can't do too much to stand in his way.

West coast would have to be drunk to throw in a 2nd rounder on top of a top 18 pick. Not just drunk, but special burn everything down drunk. If you wanna offload Stanley I’m gonna guess he has nothing but speculative pick value. Like pick 60.

And why in that scenario are west coast offering the 1st pick and not the end of first?

You'll never reach a fair price with fans on this forum. It was more about the players and the concept of the deal rather than the price.

So Kelly is probs worth the compo pick on his own. Then WC swap Lycett for Stanley and give us a pick? Sweet.
