Reckon it's a monty for Elijah Taylor at 28 and probably best available at 39. It's a high risk high reward draft. Wouldn't mind a mid-sized forward or winger. Let's see how the cookies crumble.
Taylor too much risk.

I think that was the go, they got mail he was going to be gone before 22.I still cant work out why Carlton traded 22 and 25 to port for 20, then burned it on a player who probably would have been available in the 30's. why not get him with 22 or 25? Did they have mail that someone wanted him at 20 or 21? if port wanted him at 20 they wouldnt have traded that pick to carlton, so the only option was richmond at 21. Maybe we forced their hand by picking stephens who the tigers were keen on maybe the blues thought philp was the tigers no.2 choice at that pick.... all very odd i think.

They didn't. The gave 55 to move up 2 spots. That had wind that Rich where picking their man.I still cant work out why Carlton traded 22 and 25 to port for 20, then burned it on a player who probably would have been available in the 30's. why not get him with 22 or 25? I wore Norm Sharps number as a kid on my hand knitted woolen jumper in the 50's number 26.Jeremy Sharp is my hopeful
and we very rarely go any sliders ever in the 8-25 category. We nearly always reach. This year the two boys would be around media consensus. Maybe a slight reach for Cooper based on pre draft hype.
That does not bode well for Robertson or Worrell.
Ill go Gould
I wanna see Ratcat get his man.

No thanks we'll take Gould for ourselvesFrom AFL.com:
"Clubs have been trying to get up the board, with Gold Coast in the mix to land that pick No.26 from the Cats once the draft starts. The Suns are prepared to give up future picks to land that selection, which could see them target Will Gould or Trent Bianco. "
Hmm don't think I'd want us to drop back into the 60s for anything less that a stupidly good future pick. Would be happy to deal with a club with a pick in the 30s though. Maybe we have an eye on a speculative or mature age prospect who'll last that long thoughFrom AFL.com:

My guess is they wanted to reunite the brothers. Wouldn't have expected us to take De Koning. No wonder he was ecstatic in the video at hearing the news that he went to the catsI still cant work out why Carlton traded 22 and 25 to port for 20, then burned it on a player who probably would have been available in the 30's. why not get him with 22 or 25? Yep absolutelyEssendon or Collingwood have picks in the low/mid 30s
A future 2nd and a pick in the 30s would highly consider
