Position 2019 Defenders

Just thinking it will be quick so the opposition can't set up the defence.
Yes agree that may occur some of the time, but if the defence is out of position more than likely the offence will be aswell.
If the game is faster, the setup from a behind may be one of the few set plays availible during a match. Someone like Sicily can draw his kick better than most, so a signal as to where he is going can help with positioning downfield. With the new rule, he can walk up to top of square and then play on meaning he could kick from 20m out before anyone could touch him and roost a 60-70m ball landing just short of CHF.
Think the option of such a weapon would mean it is worth exploring all avenues fwd and not just slamming the ball out asap at all costs.

Perfect. Wont be stealing points of Lloyd. D1 locked and loaded.

Wouldnt have stolen points of Lloyd anyway. Mills can win his own ball, Lloyd is a chip scab who needs the ball fed to him.

I`m very confident retaining the ball will still be a number 1 priority. Maybe early on teams might think a panic/rushed bomb is the way to go but quickly hitting targets and changing angles is still going to be the way to go.
I don't think there will be panicked bombs. Teams would have spent all summer with multiple defenders practising running in 10-20m and hitting up targets in the middle of the ground.
