"100,000 MEMBERS!!!" sounds better than "15,000 reserved seat season ticket holders + 85,000 people paying $50". So Richmond don't make the latter information available.

Richmond can boast about having 100,000 members but funny that Collingwood have 30,000 reserved seat holds and Essendon have 28,000 reserved seat holder more then Richmond has but yet we are currently 19,000 and 23,000 behind Richmond. Question is how many 3 game members do Richmond have?? Probably 60%

Quite a few, Interesting there first 7 home games Collingwood, Sydney (docklands), Melbourne, Hawthorn Essendon, Geelong, no doubt will get solid numbers to all those matches. However there last 5 games are against Western Sydney, Port, Carlton, West Coast, Brisbane. I doubt many of those 3 game members will be turning up to those matches bar Carlton, maybe West Coast.

How many seats are these clubs allocated to sell to members for MCG home games? Tiges fans claim not to know.

I understand the Bombers have/had 40k+ at Docklands, all pre sold. Of course its Adelaide with their $s top of the pops !!

Puts some light on the 50k the Eagles sell & the wait list resulting.

I can work out how many we have (Reserve members). But I need to know how many seats there are per Bay on Level 1, Level 2 and 3 (GSS)?

We get a few more than usual to the GWS game, 5 week gap between home games.

Did Collingwood or Essendon release their break down last year? Not having a dig, just interested to have a look at them.

Not sure why this is relevant.

I'm a 3-gamer. In my mid-40's, self employed, often work weekends. I can only get to 3-5 games per year (happy to go general admin if necessary). I'm still a financial contributor to the club. Still a supporter. Why shouldn't I be counted as a member?

Why reserve a seat for a year when you only need to do it 5 times a season?

Just so that this thread does not become boring would Richmond fans please post about other clubs......because fans of other clubs seem only to post about Richmond.

If we Tiges don't discuss the other clubs no one will !!!

Seeing there is a massive waiting list for the MCC they probably should introduce a 'use it or lose it' policy. If the person doesn't attend at least 5 events over a 2 year period then they should lose it.
Never going to happen for several reasons. Firstly, the members own the club so to get something like that through they would need to vote on it -- and it seems pretty unlikely a majority are going to vote for a rule that would see them lose their membership. Secondly, the whole financial model of the MCC actually means that they want to have a lot more members than people actually turning up to games.
