I have a feeling he won't be all that great.
He started well but was fortunate to get some teams starting a bit of a form slump early. His results aren't looking as good now. They have a reasonable side so they were always going to win their fair share this year.

I feel Teague and Ratten have done better in the sacked coaches department.

The couple of Port supporters I have spoken to this morning keep going with the Lycett is injured story and thats why he is out. It makes no sense, I have seen the reverse where players are dropped but the cover story is injury but never this way around. Esspecially to go in to detail about how his form has been poor and below expectations. It is well known he has been carrying an injury so they are not hiding anything.

I agree it makes no sense to drop him but it makes even less sense to make some cover up story about it in this situation.
