When the new coaching appointment selection committee met for the first time in the Arden St boardroom, they walked in and written on the whiteboard in big bold black font was 'LOL Norf'

They then just threw their hands up, gave each other a collective 'Should we bother?' look and said in unison 'Yep, let's give it to Rhyce'

No doubt the caretaker coaches have done good jobs this year but I can't help wonder if it's because of the freedom, pressure for everyone to perform factor and pretty much any good assistant coach would get similar results, or if they have actually improved the teams overnight?

Wins against Richmond/Gold Coast/Collingwood and the Saints and 3 consecutive losses is decent, but as I said, would other coaches have done that anyway?

If these guys are geniuses, as assistants they were unable to influence results, what will change when they have to pull back the freedom and players are locked in and comfortable?

I think I would have just given him 1 year to start, with incentives for an extension

If I'm counting right- we have 5 in tomorrow's team? Just need Sauce in for ROB and JJ for Fog and we'd be at seven. If we hold on to all our current thirty year olds, and then play them next year with Tex and Sloane, will we have the record?
