IF we end up playing finals in September, it would be a massive advantage of have forward weapons that the competition has not had a chance to nullify properly during the H&A season.

It certainly a genuine common phrase. Used to describe someone who given enough time to have their say can often put their foot in their mouth, or do enough damage to themselves, that they come out worse. Sure it's taken from the literal sense of death, but is not applied literally in that manner.

Edit: and Whiskey...if you had experienced something literal, then my condolences. It's definitely not something I would wish on anyone.

Pretty much could not believe that Ken was not addressing some very simple issues in the midfield that was resulting in easy clearances. Got one of the boundary commentators to watch and see if chad cornes would take a message out from Ken but he never did. Mick sounded very disappointed that an afl coach would miss something so simple haha
