And will probably stay there - have us winning only one game and we still finish 8th with 40 points. Three sides, Port, Bulldogs and Hawks outside 8 also with 40 points.

This is like a death of a thousand cuts at the moment and we need to bomb out to get serious change within the club.

Based on the Ladder Predicator (a bit of fun to entertain) then week 1 we would have:-

Geelong vs Richmond
West Coast vs Brisbane
GWS vs whoever finishes 8th
Collingwood vs Essendon

The awkward thing is I can see us beating GWS in the EF too.

Shout out to all the port people reading this thread, who feel there's no way hinkley can or should survive.

We know how you feel.

So what's the deal with Ports new sponsor?
PWC?

Is it a really a big deal?
Haven't read anything on here about it?

The difference is us supporters (and media) are putting pressure on the club when we are sitting (undeserved) eighth after a GF loss and one year of no Finals.

Port gave Kenny a contract extension after three non Finals appearances.

Imagine going five years without winning a Final.

No. Their home ground is at Homebush. That's where they play their finals (they've already played finals there).

If the planets align, we fall into 8th spot and play GWS in the EF at Giants Stadium, there'll probably be 16,000 people there, of which 10,000 will be Crows supporters.

'Pyke wasn't due to come out of contract until the end of this season, but the Crows hierarchy have moved swiftly to assure the two-time premiership West Coast player's long-term future is tied to West Lakes. '

Cmon Geoffa, atleast acknowledge you extended him during a shit season too. Open your other eye.... Don't pretend Adelaide and it's fans are demanding change any different to Port. Clearly 2018 wasn't JUST down to the pre-season and injuries, it should have served as a bigger warning.

Price Waterhouse Coopers? That PWC?

Big accounting firm/management consultants

I’ve heard of them - but not this mob. Looks like another China thing

“PwC works with businesses, Government and the community to help Australia continue to thrive and grow,” said Mr Briggs

“PwC and the Port Adelaide Football Club are philosophically aligned - both are innovative businesses, driving commercial activity in key growth markets, such as China.”

Hahahahaha
Another nothing sponsor - “work with businesses “. - how obtuse can you get ?

Imagine if we won it !?🤣

The article you have linked was published in January 2018. Prior to the disastrous Collectives Minds camp and only 3-4 months after making a GF

Doesn't surprise me the least.

You just look really really stupid right now.

They aren't some ******* nobody.
Have to agree with you here. PWC are a legit company.
Now whether the agreement is an actual sponsorship and what $$$ it includes is a different discussion. But they are a very real and quite sizeable company.

Maybe next time check the date stamp on the article you quote before it undermines the point you are trying to make.

5th largest private company in America, I'd say they are something...

But yeah not commenting the relation to the sponsorship, no idea how much and all, but purely the company as a whole.

Maybe read my post next time where I said you extended him in a shit season.... unless you think 2018 wasn't?

Than get back to me, how I undermined my post...

What reason was there to extend him so early? We both extended our coaches early. Both were monumental mistakes.

I know, I'm well aware, but like with Hinkley, both got extended EARLIER than they needed to be.

There was zero reason at the time. He wasn't going anywere, he wasn't using it to his advantage (like Hinkley with the GC threat).

In January 2018, they were meant to know 2018 was a shit season? o_O
It was the off season, not in the middle of having a shit season.
