I remember that Nank got 3 votes the first time they played, and that Grundy got injured late in the 3rd or early in the 4th iirc.
And then he almost didn't get up for the game against Brissy.

Injured then went on to score 110, 137, 109, 152 over the next 4 weeks followed by an appalling 98 against Gawn.

Ever since Cox and Sandi we have not even remotely had a set and forget ruck duo and now we do people don’t wanna pay for it and try to discredit the option.

Makes no sense and every year people are sooking that rucks are the hardest to get right. We now have that option with 2 players who are head and shoulders above their peers and people still want to complain!

Just lock in Grundy and Gawn and structure everything else around them while totally forgetting about the rucks for the rest of the season with injury permitting.

Gawndy from day dot. Set and forget. Haven't lost a moments sleep over the rucks. Same can't be said for def/mids/fwds....

Grundstein or grundkervis a much better ruck pairing for the balance of a side. I can’t justift spending 1.4 mil on 2 players who are no guarantees to reach the lofty heights of last season. They’ll both fall in price at some stage throughout the season anyway.

we also havent had any half decent rookie rucks present themselvs, but this year we have (possibly) Fort, O'Brien, Archie Smith and whoever else might pop up before round 1, but if none of those are named then im sure we will all settle for Gawndy.
