i reckon the timeslot saw lower sales. when i bought my ticket (wed i think it was) i was given and took the option to pay an extra $10 to park across from the stadium. on friday i got a message saying they were refunding the $10 and we could park for free next door under the basketball stadium - so they knew sales were lower by that stage and that under cover carpark could cover the expected crowd of about 2500.For whatever reason, they sold less tickets for the Blues /Bulldogs game as opposed to the Bombers / Roos game. There were about 13-14 bays behind the goals not opened for the game last night that were being used on Saturday night. I don’t know if that was due to less demand or simply a decision to sell a lot less tickets?
whereas the sat night game where i took the $10 option, the across road carpark was used by most attendees (that one is open air and can handle the larger crowd)
