tell me how draftees in the NBA force their way to a team?
hes got 10 ****ing clubs who can pick him hardly forcing his way to 1 club. It isn't a 2 club state and if I was from Vic no way I'd want to go to a shit hole state like Adelaide or Perth.
For the money draftees get its hardly worth moving your life to kick a pig skin around especially if you know you'll struggle being away from friends and family.

Not as draftees. As players under contract tho I'm referring to.Too much power for players these days. Turning the league into a farce. Don't play if you can't handle it. Stick to local footy or state comps. If you want to be paid as a professional in the future be one.

It was more than just an I don’t want to go thing, it was more I told them not to bother picking me and I hope they are listening.

He can pick to come home after 2 years which is his right, but just be ready to go interstate for a bit first atleast.

No sympathy for people who don't want to move interstate, if you don't want it enough to move interstate then don't play. Plenty of kids that age have to make the choice, mates of mine wanted to be doctors but only got accepted into interstate uni's. Moved to Perth because it what they wanted to do, and I guarantee you they didn't have the $120k per year a draftee has to help them with it.
