Assuming no change picks 45,46,49,72 are equal on points to pick 19 if our guy gets bid on. If he lasted another round to say pick 37 there’d be pick 37 worth of points left over
But of course we wouldn’t have picks in the 30s unless we traded up for it. Could see that happening

in any case the one off ruling to Hoover up picks without list spots has given us 300 to 630 extra points depending on the number of live picks we take in

630 equivalence is around pick 30

Considering that Geelong enter this years draft at Pick 59 or something along those lines and also have 3 Second Round Selections next year, I'd be looking to trade them Pick 24 for both Essendon's and GWS's 2021 Second Round Selections.

Surely they'd bite?

Why would Geelong do this? Next years draft is not compromised so why give up 2 x 2nds in 2021 for 1 this year.

Exactly, depends on the club they're coming from and the role they play. Clubs can be weak and still have a glut of talent in one area, meaning blokes can be thrown off a list despite having good footy left in them.

Totally agree, however both players he mentioned couldn't even manage a game with rubbish sides.

I'm not buying too much into St Kilda's final ladder position either seeing how they were kissed on the wood with their hub situation.

If there's a DFA from a good club then they chances are they couldn't get a game due to depth of the list.

Both these boys don't meet that criteria given their respective sides are average and not really any better than ours.

Would rather keep Moore before chasing Stoddart, although Phillips might improve with us similar to Ricky Henderson
