A good reference point for picks.

Why would Geelong do this? Next years draft is not compromised so why give up 2 x 2nds in 2021 for 1 this year.Considering that Geelong enter this years draft at Pick 59 or something along those lines and also have 3 Second Round Selections next year, I'd be looking to trade them Pick 24 for both Essendon's and GWS's 2021 Second Round Selections.
Surely they'd bite?
Hopefully Ryley StoddartWonder which DFAs we're taking later this week. We've got quite a few list spots open

There is some twisted logic to that.Because they'll have 3 Second Round Selections next year and don't enter this years draft until the 25th round
I also liked Stoddart in that year's draft and Myles PoholkeHopefully Ryley Stoddartand Ed Phillips. Both runners that fit our age demo.PLAYERCARDSTART33Ryley Stoddart

Not sure you're going to find many DFAs coming from good clubs and getting regular games.....Both players incapable of getting games at rabble clubs - easy pass for me

Depends if running is what we need.Quite correct, however if the only reason to look at them is because they can run then we might as well have just kept Billy HartungPLAYERCARDSTARTBilly Hartung

Most likely to be traded in those circumstances, like Tom PhillipsExactly, depends on the club they're coming from and the role they play. Clubs can be weak and still have a glut of talent in one area, meaning blokes can be thrown off a list despite having good footy left in them.

Depends if running is what we need.
Every club has different wants/needs and every club is in a different position regarding their premiership window
Not necessarily - clubs might simply refuse to trade knowing that they can pick them up for nothing through the draft, PSD and delisted free agency period anyway.
We did with Henderson, North did to get Hartung from us (lol) and the Swans did it to get Menzel.

100% no.Does anyone think that Essendon would be silly enough to trade 4 and 24 for 8 and their future 1st at all?
Surely they'd consider it?
